Has this discontinuation date been confirmed now? I keep hearing all sorts of things and just wish they'd have the same message across the brand. It seems like SAs are trying to make a quick sale by pushing the fact that the bag is being discontinued (or at least at the Gucci I went to yesterday evening, my friends were extremely put off so we left).

I don't think they are lying about it being discontinued but I do agree that they need to send the same message to everyone! Gucci has a new designer so it makes sense that the bag would be replaced with the gg marmont designed by the new designer!

Oh I'm not saying that they're lying but it's the first thing out of their mouth. I sent my friend a picture of the bag so she wanted to see it; when we got to Gucci she asked cus she wanted to get an idea of the size and the SA was like "It's being discontinued soon, I wouldn't leave today without purchasing it." Considering my friend had never set foot in a Gucci boutique, she quickly became uninterested. As someone with 5 years worth of experience in luxury retail, that's not how I'd have handled things. I just wish we'd get a definitive timeline of when to expect this model to be retired, considering they always have them in stock I don't feel the rush to buy right away.

Hmm that's really odd? My guess was that it's an older bag... but looking through all their other listings, they all have one strap fastener [emoji848] mine (purchased last year from Gucci website has one strap)
