If you are very worried you could compare your bag to the little leather patch that comes with the bag :smile: it has the original color (if stored without any sunshine hitting it).

Hi, is the Disco being discontinued? Apologies if already covered in earlier chats... New to Gucci and having read about the rave reviews of this bag I wanted to get one too - particulate now I need an easy cross body bag to keep my hands free to look after my 3 yr old toddler and 5 mth old baby.

Have the black and red one on hold for me. Which one ...

I think the red Disco has the perfect red for everyday use. It surely is gorgeous! BUT I wouldn't carry it if I am alone with my 3yr old toddler and 2mth old baby (yes, they are almost in the exactly same age like yours haha). The black will always be much more carefree than red.

So, red Disco is my first choice but if you need one bag to use with children then I would go for black :)

Thanks Kmora. I too love the red but feel the black would be more child proof... will check it out in store in the morning and decide then. Do you know if the style will be discontinued? The SA said once they have sold all stock they won't be getting any others as it is being replaced by the marmot style.

Even though there's many voices out there, seems like they will keep all the staple colors: black, red, rose beige, and there's one or two with multiple colors, but they are much stiffer. I like the original ones.

I think the possible reason for the many voices is that the Soho Disco bag was designed by previous designer, so they do want to promote their current line Marmont. They are both pretty and unique, choose what you love, don't let what they say get in your way of deciding!

I would say go for black. But depends on your wardrobe, if you have a lot of dark clothes, I would say red. But if you have a wide variety of clothes, then black is always the best choice.

I have two boys ages 4 and 15 months and my black disco is a hardy workhorse! I highly recommend it. I don't freak out if they rub their grubby little hands on it [emoji23]

Hi, what I've heard from my SA today is that Gucci is discontinuing the Soho Disco :)
