Hi! I am thinking of finally purchasing a Disco in black. I see that Selfridges has the classic colors on their website. I haven't seen them on Harrods. Are there any preferences over Selfridges and Harrods? And is the price listed in checkout with shipping the true price? I've never purchased from overseas and am a little nervous. Thanks!

I always wore on shoulder but recently let out strap to make longer and used as crossbody. It's great! Can't believe I waited so long to use as crossbody. Enjoy your new beauty!

I actually wore her for the first time the other day and got some colour transfer on the first use was so upset. I've order the apple leather cleaner kit and used leather wipes. Most of it is gone and you can't tell but it really did scare me.


Apart from this, I'm loving using the bag so far. My heart is set on a black soho next. I won't rest until she's mine :)

Hi there!

I've purchased from both and in my experience both are good places to shop at. If you're looking to buy, I've noticed that Selfridges is cheaper than Harrods. Shipping times were different by a day or so, so both are relatively fast shippers. I've also never had to pay anything more than what was listed in checkout at both retailers but I did incurr a international transaction fee with my card issuer when I purchased from Selfridges (it wasn't much but check with your card issuer if that's a concern? )

I think Harrod's and Selfridges lists stock when they have them and so Harrod's might not have any at the moment. Buy from Selfridges if they do have it! I hope this helps.

I cannot speak about purchasing from Harrods, but I got my disco from Selfridges and was satisfied with the easy transaction. No extra custom fees and shipping was fast, arrived in the US 24 hours after it left London. HTH!

Hey, was just curious if anyone knows if the soho (in black) ever goes on sale. I've read about the rose beige going on sale before. I really wanna buy my second soho, it would be nice to get it on sale.

Sorry for the double post. Also thought I'd show my colour transfer after the first use, in the airport :( baby wipes and leather wipes didn't get it completely off but did make it a bit better.

What did you wear? Dark blue jeans? Were they washed several times before wearing with the purse?

Hopefully the transfer can be removed by leather conditioner. I can't believe how easily this bag picks up color transfer. My last bet is you can try nail polish remover on the sample leather and see if transfer can be remove and would it affect the texture of the bag. Then use leather conditioner to moisturize the bag.

Yes I deffs wouldn't try nail polish remover but I'll try the leather cleaner later tonight. I guess I've just got to accept its part of the bag. I'll just buy the black one to make up for it I guess :(

Sorry. Looks like you cleaned it well. I am surprised as I have had mine several years and never had color transfer. I wear mostly jeans in blue or black.

I had this same problem too, I was just wearing old dark colored clothing :(

I have since sprayed apple guarde on it so hopefully it no longer does it.
