Also you can pay to get it authenticated
I did buy a fake item off eBay but as soon as I received it I knew straight away it was fake so I contacted eBay and pay pal and got my money back
But I've also bought a few genuine items off there too

My black disco was starting to cave in at the top as I was using every day, so I decided to give it a break and stuff it well. Hopefully that helps it to not get worse

It's sold out at NM so I'm not sure if I am able to exchange it for another one. It's not really a big deal, I can easily cut but I'm scared over time the threads will fray.

If you have a steady hand, once you trim the thread, a tiny bead of superglue on the end of a pin/needle should seal the cut edge.

Has anyone on here ever purchased a bag from ebay? If so what was your experience, can it be trusted in terms of authenticity?

I have sold both Gucci and other brands on Ebay. I know my bags are authentic, and I feel because I show pics in my home, take many pics, and am always willing to take more pics if requested, they do sell. That being said, I am not quick to buy bags on Ebay. Just afraid I will get taken to the cleaners! If a new bag is only a few hundred more than a preloved,I will opt for the new. I do look on Selfridges periodically, as they have had Disco bags for a lower price. Items under $800 have no import duties(to the US) and $30 shipping(yes, that seems high, but it is overseas.) I have purchased a YSL from them at a much lower price, even with import duties.
I know there are so many fakes on Ebay, so I'm just pleasantly surprised I am able to sell my authentic bags there!

I believe they r sold out almost everywhere. There were a couple powder pink ones I saw in Asia about two months ago, but by the time I wanted to get one, they are all gone. You could ask around on Facebook groups, maybe someone would sell their preloved ones, you never know, that's how I got mine. : )

I got my Gucci soho disco in black on Tuesday and when I asked if they were being discontinued they said that they weren't sure. But I've heard that there keeping the main colors and are getting rid of the seasonal colors. But it might be getting discontinued because the only soho discos they had at the Gucci store was the black one and the multi color one.
