This is true (same at Hermes).

Even thicker belts, and then only an extra 2 holes max.

Definitely, don't let an SA put extra holes in you belt. They are experts at selling, not leather craft.

Thanks for your response! What should i do? The store in Rotterdam would send it to Italy. Is that possible?
I would not want to get a belt that is too short.

You could ask a good local leather craft person to put a hole where you need it, but I would just add an extra hole.

Send to Italy if you want, but make sure they know exactly what you want.

It sound lovely, I think it would be worth sending to Italy

My only narrow Gucci belt is dark blue shiny croc, I would definitely prefer Gucci to add a hole.

Yes! The size 80 fits ok but i find the end to be too short if i use it with a low rise jeans. It looks like i miss a bit of the belt. Don’t know how to explain it. Plus it fits ok on the 2nd hole on the 3rd is tight and i’m scared it’s going to rip.

I ordered a 85 cm one and It’s now in Italy waiting for what they decided (to punch or not to punch).
