Good news for BTH lovers, the bag is back. Saw it in store in a rich cream canvas, brown leather trim (boar-print) with the red/green web-strip.

Hey all, I'm looking to add a classic Gucci to my collection, so I'm eyeing a the classic bamboo top handle. I'm also considering the bamboo shopper tote cz I like its simplicity. Either way, I want to get it preloved since the prices are so much better, I love vintage, and there's actually a lot more selection. Anyone have experiences or advice about buying a preowned BTH?
I've had good experiences with Farfetch (with new products) but their preloved prices are almost double what I see on Vestiaire or Fashionphile.

Meanwhile The House of Gucci features an early 1970s Gucci GG printed suede version of the BTH (although strangely it's not actually done up)

I made my first foray into a Gucci store and tried the new bamboo top handles on. I love the colors but the leather seems VERY stiff. Does Gucci leather soften up in time and with use, or will the bags keep this level of structure for a while? (I do love a structured bag.)
They should hold their structure. This is one bag that benefits from being stiff.

How are you Bamboo top-handles holding up?
I've had mine for 10 years and they are looking fine but I have seen some for sale online that look like an elephant must have sat on them (and had a roll around).
I wish people were as careful with these as people are with the there Hermes Kellys for instance.
