Gucci Bamboo Top-Handle Club: 1947 'till now

I’m so happy to found this club!

I just bought a beautiful vintage Gucci bamboo bag, everything about it looks authentic I have no reason to think otherwise but no serial number, can anyone please help me about the age of the bag.

Passed down from a family friend who passed .. I believe this to be one of the early made bags.. I have tried to do research on this bag but I have found little information on the bags made in the 40’s..
since these bags didn’t have tags I am “assuming” that the number is a production number ?? Maybe .. can anyone shed some light ..
it has the Echt 0 prym which I have found was the snap used of the 40’s

I just scored this beauty last week for $1000 in perfect condition. The color is to die for, goes with anything, and it holds everything I need!! Easy to get into as well.

Oh my goodness, thank you!! At the moment, this is my very favorite bag!! She holds everything I need in a very organized way - I can’t explain how nicely and conveniently. The size and interior are perfect, Just super easy to carry and use. I like her better than any Chanel or Louis Vuitton I have so far.

No, the number is the craftsperson. It's very late 1960s/early 1970s. This Modern minimalist rounder shape was only introduced in the mid-1960s.
