Are there “account quotas”?
I know there’s some buying limits on certain items but I’m not sure I’ve heard of there being a limit on total account purchase (if that’s what you’re asserting)

Yes just the buying limits 2 leather goods & 3 slgs per account per year.
Yet the resellers/vip seem to don’t have limit. I don’t know how they approach the customer that they are being labeled as “vip”

You’re speaking about Goyard?
What leather goods?

I’ve purchased more than that in a month, replacing stolen items. I’ve never had any purchase limits but I don’t try to buy 2 STL bags a month or anything.

Yup. Wow, it’s so unfair here.

Like st louis, hobo, anjous. They have limit like just 2 bags per year.
Then 3 slgs.

I’m experience this problem here in paris. It’s only april and i’m already finish with the 5 limits per account 😢

Need some advice.

Just got the Artois PM but now second guessing myself that I should’ve gotten the MM, because the PM shoulder drop doesn’t hang as low as I like and the MM shoulder drop would be perfect. I’m 5’3, medium build (not thin), would the MM look overwhelming on my frame?

I'm 5'2", medium build, and have both the Artois PM and MM. I strongly prefer the PM, but I don't have any issues with the strap drop and have been using it with a heavy coat all winter. It's a great size and the straps get a bit more flexible with use. The MM is really a big bag and I use it for travel or when I need to carry a laptop. I think it will look fine on you but unless you need to carry a lot I would stick with the PM.

I have the MM and I'm pretty small - 5'2" and thin. I like the size a lot, but I use it for travel more now. Because it's structured I would bump things in tight spaces sometimes lol.

Thanks for the input! The only tote of comparable size to the MM that I own is a lululemon canvas tote, which verges on overwhelming on me, but because it’s soft and collapses against my frame it looks ok. The Artois MM would probably jut out more since the base is more structured, which could make it look bulky on me. I don’t carry a lot of things day to day, so capacity wise the PM probably makes more sense.

Yeah if I needed to carry my laptop I usually go with a backpack, and I probably won’t use the bag for travel, so the PM is probably a better choice for me. I just wish the strap drop was 25cm instead of 20cm. I think the only way I can make an MM size bag work on me is if it’s not structured and collapses. Thanks for the input!

I am just wondering. How some of the people becomes “vip” and SA let them buy anything even though they already hit the quota on their account.
Personal experience seeing who I think is a reseller in boutique while waiting for my items to be packaged. The main buyer was a lady but she had 3 other persons with her.

Main purchases were the popular items line St Louis, Anjou and the SLGs. They each bought a couple of items but the lady instructed the SA cashier which card from which person to buy which items and she was constantly checking one of her two phones each time she arranged one set of purchases.

I don’t think resellers get around quotas directly. I think the stores allow multiple purchases if you have enough people with you to make large multiple purchases.

I do know they do check/lookup your individual account shopping history.

My BFF is not a reseller but she also went around Chanel quotas when she opened purchases with her teenage daughters using their supp credit cards. Her DH was not amused 🤣🤣🤣

So long as the purchase is made in the other person name and their own credit card, I don’t think the stores care really.

Again these are just my thoughts not that I have any specific knowledge. Maybe shop with a family member or friend next time. 😉
