Got my upgrade diamond! Now the setting dilemma...

IMHO, because you're stone is ginormous, I'd recommend one of the following:
1. Keep the simple setting so your stone is the center of attention and you can easily stack it with your eternity band.
2. Have it set to the Leon Mege micro pave. But, I'd only wear the ring because it might be a bit too much and over the top worn with the eternity band. Worn together kind of takes away from the beauty of your stone and the micro pave setting.
3. Consult with Leon on what other setting he can recommend that can be worn together with your eternity band.

I love halos, but I would vote for the simple solitaire or just the pave sides for that magnificent stone!

I voted for Option #2 - I like the bling.
You could have spaces added to the band so you can still wear a diamond wedding band.

Firstly...GORGOUS stone! I'd invest in the LM pave band setting. This setting won't take away from your beautiful stone and still gives a bit of extra bling. You could still wear your diamond band or wear your E-ring on the right hand and stack your bands on your left hand. With that stone you can't go wrong!!!
First of all Cogratulations on a STUNNING diamond!!! It is gorgeous!!! While, I love the simple setting, the Pave just blew me away! I also second the thought of getting a spacer and still being able to wear your eternity band with it. Whatever you decide, make sure to post pics! Congrats again!

I would leave as is (even in the 14kt setting) until you are use to having this diamond on your finger. Why put money into something that you may change in 3 months. The solitare setting is lovely and very classic and can also be paired with anything. The micro pave looks to be very well made and would be a wonderful mounting for your diamond, I'd (at least try) to give it a little time before making a decision.
