How long does it take for the US purchase to show up on the counter? Literally, offered a bag a week before my Paris trip! Not complaining, but would like to save some $ and get a QB in Paris while I'm there.
Since it’s only February, I assume this was your first quota bag for the year. If I were you I would change nothing and not mention your recent B to your Paris SA. You don’t know if your accounts are linked, you don’t know if the b purchase will immediately show up, you don’t know if they will care. Technically they shouldn’t care since it’s not two from their region in a short period of time. Worst case they see the B and ask about it, at which point just be honest.

I have an SA in the US and one in Paris, and recently I was shopping in another European city and was told that the managers can see global. I took this to mean the SAs cannot, but SMs can. Could this be what they mean? Neither SA, in Paris or the US, has mentioned my purchases in other stores.

New info from my SA - effective Feb 25, a Wishlist is now mandatory in europe if you want to be offered a QB. This was not the case prior, as regular clients were offered QB's without a wishlist.

Does this mean that the options for the wishlist has expanded (for example to include Box) and one needs to also get on a wishlist for bags that are generally push offers?

It’s Hermes. I think it just means the messaging has changed to stronger words…
You can still express your interest to receive push offers, I don’t necessarily stick to my wishlist honestly.

I’m presuming that the purpose is to limit the go-show customers that come and make a big purchase to receive QB’s without having a pre-relationship with the stores.

I just want to update you guys regarding the K/B count on my profile. I went to the home store in the US recently, and checked in with a random SA (who is not my SA). We chatted a bit and I asked the SA about the K/B count on my profile. The SA looked into my profile and told me that I have no bag purchased this year.

Here is what I learned: I confirm that the "K/B count" is a real thing. But, mine says 0. Now, I have 3 hypotheses: (1) It is not up to date yet (and will not be because the global system is still in progress...?); (2) it is only updated by a specific cycle (e.g., by season, quarterly, monthly, or even bi-weekly?); or (3) this K/B count is currently incomplete as it should be manually posted by the SA and the SA in Europe did not, etc.

I also have heard of an issue with this K/B count: One client has purchased only 1 QB this year so far, but she got "2" under her "K/B count" on her profile. So, I doubt if the K/B count is accurate at all.

Disclaimers: I am only sharing my experiences here. I also look forward to hearing others' experiences. Thank you! :flowers:

Hi!
I heard that some people are getting multiple qb for different countries(3-4).
They make a wish in a different stores and get tyem. Did hermes somehow checking that? Or only paris store can see where and when you buy a bag?

Please tell me, has anyone seen their profile and the number of qbs in the profile? I'm interested in whether they see in different countries exactly how much you bought per year and when. Or have they still not united the base? Maybe in Paris they can see all the qb?

Apparently it is not connected in many places and it relies a lot on manual updates. The issue is that sometimes QBs from the prior year appear in the current year, and it doesn’t show dates. If you have wish in one of the wishlist countries and 2 or 3 appear in your profile that year, unless you have a long-standing relationship or spend a lot with that store, most likely manager will not release the 3rd or 4th bag (so won’t grant the wish).

I heard in Paris they can see all QBs, but that they don’t care about numbers.

I am asking because i have a friend that are receiving more than 3 qb a year. With the same passport info and email. In 3 countries from the wish list system. But non of them is Paris. Thats why i am curious if they see those bags(not only in france system). My SA said to me when they put me on a wish list that they will send all my info to the head office and they will see am I somewhere on a wish list, so if yes than this one can not put me here on a wish

Maybe these countries are not connected, but more than 3 only on wishlist system (without any spend) is unusual. Although one SA showed me 9 QBs in a year on someone else’s profile as an example, and said this SA’s manager refused to offer the 10th bag. The following year this person got 4 I believe.

I know that they do not need to get approval up to 3, but that the 4th needs to be approved.

I also have a friend that receives around 15 QBs a year, but she spends more than one million dollars at H a year, so they don’t care I guess.

Unless you are doing tax free, no one generally asks to see your ID, so your passport would not be in the system.

This “head office” and “wishlist coming from Paris” if wishlist is not in Paris is total BS.

Stores generally have an “allocation department” for wishlist, and an office will do the allocation, but SAs can connect with their own internal office (and generally know the people that are doing the allocation really well) to follow up on their client’s wishlist. Plus there are many other bags that are not allocated through wishlist and SAs can ask for manager approval to allocate bags to their clients.

That is how wishlist system works. Anything else you hear is BS. If SA says “I don’t know etc.”, find another SA. They know really well, and I heard from more than one SAs in different countries that it works as I described to you.

This is my experience. One year, I accepted three: two from FSH, then one more from my home store. (To be clear, for the sake of my budget and closet space, this is not something that I would do regularly (or feel comfortable doing regularly), and I have rejected other 25qb offers)
