Global Hermes Profile

I would like to share some information I received about Istanbul.

Paris sees Istanbul, but Istanbul doesn't see Paris's profile. Currently, globalization efforts are ongoing. They are unsure if this situation will change for Istanbul as a result.

Additionally, if you have a bag waiting for approval in Paris (like SO), you cannot add it to your wish list in another country.

Hermes can basically see how many QBs are purchased, it might not be at every single (smaller) store worldwide yet, it might depend on SA seniority and level of access to records and ultimately it depends on whether the store wants to enforce it strictly. The last depends on strength of relationship, tenure and unfortunately prespend as well.
Paris can definitely see global QB purchased each year. As I said it depends on whether they want to enforce it.
I would personally not place a wish for the same specs across 3 stores. Imagine if they do offer them to you. Two, let alone 3 multiples of the same bag is highly likely to raise red flags.
Just my personal advice.
My friend did end up with more than one of the same bag when she started shopping, she had Jay Ahr paint one. Now she only gets the latest blue box bags and exotics, so she doesn't take two of the same anymore 😅.

If a person is spending 7 figures, I don’t think they care. If she would be limited to 2 bags, she would spend $50-100k max.

Update: If you are in the US, here is what your account will look like for "KB count."

It gives KB, KB n-1, and KB n-2.

I honestly don't know what KB n-1 and KB n-2 mean. I was speculating that these are "1 year ago" and "2 years ago," respectively, because I only got 1 QB each in calendar years 2023 and 2024 in the US.

My KB is 0 because I've never got any QB in the US this year (prior to the SO I picked up today). So, it would be 1 since I just picked up my SO.

Also, I learned that my US and European accounts can never be linked if the names are not matched. For example, my French account has my full legal name as appeared in my passport. In the US account, however, my first name is completely dropped and the name I go by is different. (For example, if my middle name is Thomas, I go by Thom in the US account.) So, I realized that I wouldn't need to worry about this. (I wouldn't be bothered about this anymore since I am done in the US anyway...)

I hope this is helpful. (Also, I am happy to hear about OPs' comments/thoughts.)

Thank you for sharing! I’m intrigued! There’s a symbol with a dollar bill and pie chart- I wonder if this is “prespend” broken down to metiers? There’s also a symbol with the H and circle. What does it all mean??

It’s surprising they use name as a mechanism to match profiles for this very reason (especially w/women changing their last name) rather than email address which tends to remain static.

That's so interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I'm curious about the two lines with the $ amounts: is the top supposed to $'s spent for the year, or spending done between KB offers? And maybe the bottom one is total $'s spent with Hermès (or that particular store) from Day 1 until today?

Money given to H already for deposits and Store Credit on the account.

How insightful! Does anyone know if the n-1 and n-2 is in fact previous calendar years? Or what the last item with the F means?

Out of toppic allert.

Actually in France but also in Belgium and switzerland, it is commonly used.

N-1 or +1 can have different meanings depending on context.

Apparently it comes from mathematics where N is the référence.

So here it means year, season or period

but n-1 in management could mean direct report

N+1 being a suppervisor.

It is very commonly used in business

So N is the référence
N-1 the past
N+1 future.

And you can go with as many Numbers as you like

Hope it helps ;)

I don't think anyone was confused about that. They were asking what the n stood for in this instance, and the answer is currently "calendar year".

I wonder if they’re a TPFer as well

I’m suddenly getting Star Trek Borg vibes (DH was a fan decades ago) lol

I Finalky got my wishlist Invitation… 😀does anyone know what happens to my wish if I Score a QB in Paris while waiting for it?
I am in Europe so Profiles might be linked..

@Angiebbb might know depending on the EU location :)

It depends on the country and if your profile is linked. I know that the UK does not grant a 3rd bag in the wishlist system if the KB count is at 2 for example.

I’ve heard of stores that do not grant wish if they see 1 in the KB count.

I guess it depends on the store, client tier and how much one spends
