Global Hermes Profile

Hi. Does anyone knows if the wishlist is open, or when? And when it opens does it apply for the whole Europe or different from country to country?
When I had my wishlist appointment in Munich in October, I was told that the wishlist would be reopened in the first quarter. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly when and whether this only applies to Munich.

I was told by my SA today that they can now see my profile across the globe. I am in the US. She knows I have shopped in Europe and knows I bought at least one big item there. She does not realize (I do not think) the extent of that relationship. I am not sure if the comment just meant to entice me to spend more in the US or if they now truly have full visibility. If I am forced to choose one store, I would go with the one in Europe- much easier to get QBs, cheaper prices.

Some have posted that the global QB amounts may be visible, but neither my Local US SA or FSH SA really care.* I would just take it as a factual statement (not an enticement to spend only one place or anything else. And, my DH and I would rather shop in France too. The us prices are a killer :)

ETa: * My FSH SA says she cannot see US. And, they know what I buy in other stores bc I tell them; IMO, how else can they recommend stuff that coordinates but isn’t duplicative.

I agree and I would also choose Paris if I had to choose. But I think they probably don't care about the purchases, just the QB's so they can enforce 2 QBs globally.

The problem is that the US store will have no incentive to get me any QBs once they know I am "satisfied" elsewhere. I love H RTW and so does DH but would like for it to "count" towards bags. I do not mind getting 2 QBs total. If it were up to me, I would get one unique offer in the US and one in Europe a year. Knowing the style of my US store, they will just not get me anything for as long as they can and hint at the other purchase as the reason and I will be frustrated. I do enjoy the convenience of being able to go shopping fairly spontaneously and my SA has an amazing taste. Beyond that selecting at my store is bland and not abundant.

Seriously, if your US store is like this, consider switching to Paris. In my limited experience, if your spend is generous in both, it shouldn’t matter. And, if I’m on vacation in another country, that is especially true.
believe it is now one account per household. I don’t know how they track it. I am sure there is a way around anything
A member here told me that the US home store could track it by cell; addresses and oddly passport (no idea how the latter worked since you don’t provide pass port numbers for your local, but she said somehow H corporate correlated all of it. I am under DHs account worldwide and don’t have separate accts. It hasn’t prevented me from getting more than two qb offers annually from FSH and local combined. But, I only accepted a total of 3 25BK annually once. In 2023, I refused two out of three offers between the two stores. They do seem to keep track of rejected offers, and I think you get some kind of credit for those lol. At any rate, since I don’t have the inclination or the budget for fancy limited QB bags, or multiple Accts for that matter, I think they give me a pass lol

My SA told me if I get a QB in Paris to make sure to put it on my DH's account, so it doesn't affect my quota in my home store.

But here’s the issue: Except for customers with very strong relationships, randomly shopping customers in Paris who get a chance to purchase a QB are told that "the bag must be under the name of the person whose appointment it is."

So, sa's advice doesn’t apply to everyone.

FWIW, when I started working with my new SA back in March 2024, I’m pretty sure the reason why I was given my B 25 so quickly in April is because they could see that I had not been given a QB since January 2023 (while in Paris). During one of my appointments with my SA, the topic of shopping in Paris came up and it was very explicitly stated by the same SA that shopping in Paris is frowned upon and if given a QB abroad, would negatively effect offers in US.

In case it makes a difference to our discussion, I want to clarify that I shop at a small European boutique not Paris. I think Paris gets a bit of a pass in the eyes of other SAs.
Agree, but in the end, of course go by whatever your SA indicates is your particular store policy. Reactions seem to vary wildly across the board.

ETA: my Paris spend is a fraction of my local spend and I have enough bags that I Am not particularly focused there, both of which may also help

There is a quota bag counter on every client's profile. Literally labelled "K/B". Once everything is linked up world wide, any time a person buys a quota bag, regardless of store/region/country, it will increment by one. When you go to ask for your next quota bag within the same calendar year, the SA you are working with will look at this K/B counter and see if it is less than 2, thus you would be potentially in consideration for another bag, or at 2 and thus precluded from another bag (barring VIP exceptions blah blah blah). The rest of your purchase history stays unique to the country you are shopping in for unique country specific privacy law reasons.
How long does it take for the US purchase to show up on the counter? Literally, offered a bag a week before my Paris trip! Not complaining, but would like to save some $ and get a QB in Paris while I'm there.
