There were rumors that Tom is a contestant on The Masked Singer because it was taping at the same time he left the Bucs during the preseason for “personal reasons.” It seems like too much of an over-the-top ruse to pretend to have marital problems in order to keep your participation in a celebrity talent show secret though.

They have a staff… she didn’t have to give up anything more than any other mom (or dad) raising kids imo.
She has had the means the whole time to do anything she’s dreamt of. I’ve been a SAHM mom raising kids longer, and my job was always equally important. If I’d had her career and money plus my husbands income I’d continue pursuing my dreams.
I can’t feel sorry for either of them tbh. Her judgy comments don’t win my sympathy, sorry!

Not every wealthy career woman wants to leave her children with hired help for weeks at a time or fly them internationally between two households. Whatever their means were it was important enough to Gisele to put her career on hold to be present and give their kids stability while Tom pursued his NFL career. I think he should have honored his promise instead he chose football over his wife’s feelings. And now divorce potentially. Oh well. We all make choices and deal with them too.

She seems very controlling. She knew what he did when she got with him. So I guess if she married Leo, then he would need to give up acting? I have my career and would never let my husband dictate what to do with it. Football season is five months out of the year. She has him all to herself the other seven months. She's complaining that she had to put her career on hold for him. She could have picked up work during the seven months when he was home.
Yeah the optics of him returning to football so soon after retirement had to be embarrassing for Gisele. No matter how he spins it people will assume (rightfully or wrongly) trouble at home and he’d rather be on a field than with her. On the other hand if it wasn’t working out no need to prolong his return while the momentum was still there.

- He was on vacation with Gisele and the kids, supposedly without internet service, when his retirement news broke
- Tom Sr. (his dad) had to come out and say that his son has not yet made a decision
- Tom comes back and finds out he's retired (imagine his surprise!), even though he didn't make that final call
- Now everyone wants Tom to confirm whether he is or is not retiring
- Tom felt pressured into make a decision. Coming off a family trip, he likely was still on "vacation mode" and thought to himself "okay...yeah...I can see myself living a life like this away from football....forever."
- Announces he IS retiring
- 40 days later Tom surprises us all, says there is "unfinished business" and comes out of retirement. He realized that even with his companies like TB12, Brady Brand & Autograph.io, nothing can replace the game of football itself.
