Not sure if this was already mentioned, but I don't think Tom Brady would have retired
if his retirement announcement was not prematurely leaked;
- He was on vacation with Gisele and the kids, supposedly without internet service, when his retirement news broke
- Tom Sr. (his dad) had to come out and say that his son has not yet made a decision
- Tom comes back and finds out he's retired (imagine his surprise!), even though he didn't make that final call

- Now everyone wants Tom to confirm whether he is or is not retiring
- Tom felt pressured into make a decision. Coming off a family trip, he likely was still on "vacation mode" and thought to himself "okay...yeah...I can see myself living a life like this away from football....forever."
- Announces he IS retiring
- 40 days later Tom surprises us all, says there is "
unfinished business" and comes out of retirement. He realized that even with his companies like TB12, Brady Brand & Autograph.io, nothing can replace the game of football itself.
- Tom Brady turns 45

. Tom ALWAYS said he wants to play until 45!
- Tom misses ELEVEN DAYS of NFL training camp, no one knows why. Reddit users come up with a theory that Tom was a contestant on The Masked Singer
(fyi, he takes practices and camp SERIOUSLY. In 2010 he got into a car accident before getting to practice. He didn't care about the accident - he was freaking out about possibly being late to practice)
- Tom returns to training camp, tells reporters there is "
alot of sh*t going on."
- Rumors that Gisele is not attending the Tom's first game of the season
- His kids show up to a game but no Gisele
I guess now we know Gisele was busy with divorce attorneys
TLDR: Tom Brady's retirement was prematurely announced when he himself didn't know what the future holds; he was forced into making a decision, so he chose retirement, making Gisele the happiest wife in the world. He realized he still has alot left in him (thank you, TB12 Method!), so he chooses to unretire. Gisele is pissed
and feels like he broke a promise, but he never promised he would remain retired. He has said for over a decade "I want to play until I'm 45.".
Tom turned 45 in August.
