Gisele Bundchen looked downbeat as she was spotted out and about on the streets of New York City on Thursday.
It’s amazing to me that two such enormous egos managed to stay married this long. I’m pretty sure Tom will retire after this season because his contract with Tampa will be finished. I don’t know that he will be able to walk away from football completely though. He may still want to be involved in some capacity. If she’s hoping he’ll want to spend all his time with her, going on exotic vacations, she may be disappointed.
Supposedly Brady has already signed a 10 year $375 million contract with Fox to be a sportscaster whenever he finally retires.
There you go. So he will still be traveling around the country six months of the year but he can be at home at least part of the week.
I thought they built a massive, over-the-top, excessively extravagant home in Florida?
I think they also built an enormous but obviously eco-friendly
one in California at one point as well. The Hypocrisy of people patting themselves on the back for these enormous new construction buildings kills me.
Heard the same - it will be interesting to see how that works out. Sometimes great players (looking at you, Joe Montana!) are disappointing at broadcasting.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened with Tom, he seems to have to work really hard to show some personality.
I was wondering more about his un-retirement--is there any possibility he un-retired since the marriage was already failing?? Like, what the heck, might as well continue playing since the marriage is doomed anyway. The magazine article where she gave the interview was probably done a few months before publication, she seems to be living back in NYC for now, and we all know relationships take months or years to fall apart, not days. It seems perhaps things went off-track for them several months ago and he decided to come back to football since he'd be solo.
Anything is possible because we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. He announced his retirement at the end of the season and changed his mind 4 to 6 weeks later. Really, the press kept riding him about making a decision about retiring so he may have been on the fence and then said he would and regretted it almost immediately. She may be feeling he went back on his word to her. Seems like if their marriage was solid it’s something they could’ve worked through in the last several months and they haven’t. As celebrity marriages go they’ve had a good run.
I just hope that he doesn’t feel compelled to carry on about his TB12 food regime!!
