just for fun, here are a couple of DH's watches that i tried on for reference. :p

the first is the Deep Sea - this is the newest version of the original Sea Dweller, but in 43mm, Rolex's largest to date. it's a little too heavy and too thick for me, but it has a really cool adjustable strap feature.

the second is a Breitling limited edition, i forget the exact name, with a rubber strap. i have it tightened to the last hole, but still too loose, so this one is probably a no-go IRL. hehe.

they don't look too bad on, do they?
You have tiny little waist, hahha ,and the watch are huge for u.
Tiny waist + huge watch= sexy!!!!:p:p:p.I love the way you wear them.:nuts:

That Breitling is the BLACK STEEL Super Avenger. I have the all stainless version on a bracelet; I wear it all the time but it is HUGE; 48.4mm
I have to say, I prefer Breitling's on bracelets, as it is a trademark look and gives them a real POP irl. However, you can't go wrong with any of them. Great timepiece.

As for Panerai, remember most of the automatics do NOT have a see through back... the 88 and 90 do not.

I have tried on the Deep Sea. Love it. Didn't at first but it has grown on me. Again, Rolex is a brand that I go back and forth with...

I am also an audio/videophile. In the audio world, BOSE is the best known brand. However, no real audiophile would EVER buy BOSE. It is seen as an o.k. product, but not worth the price by a long shot. Those "in the know", know better, so to speak. Sorry if that sounds snooty =(

Rolex, while not exactly the same thing, is seen by many in the watch world to be REALLY overpriced for what you get. To be fair, I would say ALL watches are. But what is meant, is that a brand like Omega gives you equal quality for 1/2 the price.

Does that deter me from getting a Rolex; a little bit, yeah. I do not own one, because I only wear 42-48mm watches, and until now Rolex did not make one. Then along came the DEEP SEA! First time I have liked one.

As for the Daytona. It is a great looking watch. I know an AD who has one black and one white, and wants full list. I believe $9850? They are near Tampa, FL if anyone is interested.

Anyway, whatever watch you go with, if you love it, then the rest is semantics. Don't get caught up in brand and resale value and so one... buy one that meets your personal criteria for happiness, and you will be happy! :yahoo:

^^thanks lingbo! do you mean tiny "wrist"? :p i know, some of them look disproportionately huge on!

wired1 - thanks for the name! yeah DH is iffy on the rubber strap too, but it's got a different kind of sportier look. my DH also says the same thing about Omegas and their value compared to Rolexes. he's got a few of those as well. btw, please post a few modeling shots of you and your watches! sounds like you have quite a collection!

These are my 3 favs. I have some diamond Renatos posted in another thread (pics of your Renato). Those are great for cheap, awesome bling!

Up next is prolly' the Deep Sea Dweller and a Manifattura Collection (in-house movement) from Panerai. I am thinking the Radiomir 8 day.

Anyway, there's some of my watches. =) Thanks for asking!

PS - If you prefer to see these on non-monkey arms, Jan228 will be happy to model for you!

Same watch on orange croc stamped leather.

I rarely, rarely wear this cause it's really too big for me. I'm on the lookout for a preowned 49 but it's been elusive. :girlsigh:

I can't find the pics of me wearing the pepsi GMT and the Omega Seamaster, will post once I get new pics ;)

Ha!!!! ITA!!! :woohoo:Bose is TOTALLY not worth the price. (Don't buy them for that matter lol!)
This is for a totally diff thread now, but what headphones do you prefer? :p

Anyway back on topic, up next is prob the Explorer II like Chaz's or the PAM 183. I don't really like the autos save for the 49 cause it's white, and it's 40mm!

Here's the picture that's turned many a woman to PAMs :graucho: I have a strap manufacturer to recommend as well!

And a dream for now is the 270, GMT + 10 day reserve. I think if you were to have a single (big) watch, this could be perfect in terms of function/looks.

Oh! And the ROO!
