I adore the red second hand against the gray,its just lovely!! LOL!! A little bit of flash,but not too much! I love it!

just for fun, here are a couple of DH's watches that i tried on for reference. :p

the first is the Deep Sea - this is the newest version of the original Sea Dweller, but in 43mm, Rolex's largest to date. it's a little too heavy and too thick for me, but it has a really cool adjustable strap feature.

the second is a Breitling limited edition, i forget the exact name, with a rubber strap. i have it tightened to the last hole, but still too loose, so this one is probably a no-go IRL. hehe.

they don't look too bad on, do they? :nuts:

Your DH has a wonderful collection Mineko!! I like the cartier 21 with the funky strap, but my concerns would be the lack of box and papers hence the price. I think with this economy, there will be more deals up and coming.

thanks sammyjoe! btw, i noticed your earlier post that you were waiting for the ss daytona. DH just got one for a friend of ours by calling his watch dealer in HK. the sales manager found it for him in one day! if you're interested, PM me for his #.

I love the Cartier,its such a cool looking watch!! My DH isn't crazy about Cartier either,I have always loved the Pasha,and came across an incredible deal on one...but went for the GMT 2 in the end.

And thank you for your compliment!I should take a better pic of the Explorer now its good daylight here(DH was wearing it yesterday when I was taking pics of the others,thats why it looks out of sequence to the other two) I LOVE the Sea Dweller on you,its looks fab! Your wrists look very similar in size to mine,the lugs of the Sea Dweller hung off either side of my wrist too,but I loved that,it was just the weight that put me off initially...wish I had gone for it now.

Thanks Mineko!! I have had a few offers for this watch, my problem is being UK based, when you add duties, customs etc, it does get to the grey market price, so I am awaiting for a dream in the UK!! Thanks again though!:tup:

The milgauss is a cool watch, you know there is going to be a waitlist for that one soon, I think there is already in the states. Was the daytona SS or WG or Two two in Brighton.
