So I have been seeing a lot of Gigi New York and reading really good reviews online. I have to admit that I am a big skeptic of blog reviews (excluding Purseforum) since so many are sponsored posts. Anyway, after seeing the Hayden Satchel for half off, I decided to bite the bullet. I can say that the bag is well above its value! It's a thick leather, well crafted bag. I am more than impressed with the bag. I will definitely invest in more of their bags. I did notice that it feels heavy when full but its not a deal breaker to me. When worn cross body the weight doesn't feel too much. My only wish was that it was slightly larger. I also wish I had bought the python embossed bag but I wasn't going to spend that much on a whim (it was being sold full price in the colour I wanted).



So, if you're contemplating Gigi New York I would definitely buy. Dare I say, it's well above the quality of Rebecca Minkoff or Tory Burch (just my opinion). The price point makes it especially hard to beat.

It is not heavy, but it is unlined. It's not as light as a Masur Gavriel bucker bag though.

I just bought the Hayden Satchel as a whim as they said it would be discontinued. I saw your youtube video and mine did not come stuffed and the shoulder strap was not wrapped up.
Should I be concerned that this is not a new bag?
I love the bag but because of this and that it wasn't packed with stuffing makes me concerned they just shoved a past floor model into a box and the presentation just makes me less happy about having it.

If there is nothing wrong with it, I wouldn't be concerned. I have bought bags that were not wrapped.

There is a dent in the front, I bought the pebbled leather version. Has your bag( the bucket) softened over time? I just don't want the dent to be a permanent issue as its visible. But thats really the only issue with it

Any suggestions on where to find the 'Made in xx' in my bags?
I bought 2 Taylor totes and a goatskin clutch and I just can't find anything in them saying where they were made. Looked in the inner pockets, nothing there.
I'm really pleased with these wherever they were made, and the shipping box was packed very well.

I have a Madison crossbody and I missed the made in tag the first time around (turned out to be Made in China). I'm not with my bag right now but I think the tag on that is a thin and soft plastic strip, a bit transparent. It's in one of the side stitchings if I recall correctly. I ordered the mini Taylor too from the recent sale too, but I'm overseas so I have yet to receive the bag. I'm happy to hear you like yours!!

Oooh, that color is gorgeous. I bought that one in salmon, and the larger Taylor in the Lanaki (sp?) print. I really debated over the salmon vs blue, but I already have so many blue bags.
Neither of mine have a tag...I've looked about 4 times. Pulled the pocket inside out. Peered down into the inner leather pockets.
I really like the inner zipper pull. So cute.

I was expecting a deeper blue actually based on the stock photo, this one is a brighter lighter one. But I like it!! The shade is something I've always wanted to try, but I've always chickened out. Finally! I needed to break out of my comfort zone. [emoji7]

How are you liking your bags? I wonder why they don't have tags, could it be they arr made in NY?

ETA: I looked at the inner zipper pull, it's cute!! Didn't notice it earlier.

I emailed Gigi inquiring about the Made in xxx for my bags. I got a prompt reply that the bags I bought were all made in the Long Island factory.
I was also told that the mini Taylors are made in the US and also some overseas (China I guess) and that if there's no tag it was made in the US
