Oh my - from flying bugs to flying in general!

Shelby - I'm one that really likes macaroons, well most sweets. Especially chocolate.

LilyHermes - had to laugh at your comment about being fired after that one flight! Seriously rude people that fly today. Just rude people people I think.

Did anyone hear the news this morning about the Air France flight attendant who has been arrested for stealing from passengers while they slept? She's got kids too, poor thing. Anyway, I've always had lovely treatment from flight attendants and I admire their patience with the riff raff who think a giant plastic garbage bag is okay for a carry on bag. And then expect help lifting it above their seat! It's not an easy job and I think the public and the airlines in general make it worse.

Here's a fun read about flying business class:

- Is business class really worth it?

I make it a point to still do that.:p I think it's a matter of respect for the flight crew and the whole flying experience, even if that is nothing but a fond memory at this point. (Being well dressed used to get you bumped into first class too.:graucho: Sadly, those days are long gone.)

I'm just shocked at what people wear on planes, and it seems that we Americans are the biggest culprits in dressing inappropriately at all times - for heaven's sake - even at funerals these days.

And, ugh, I do not want to sit next to a stanger's filthy bare feet in flip flops for a four-hour flight either. If I were a flight attendant, I'd try to run a drink cart over those bare feet and teach them a lesson.

No doubt, I would be fired after one flight.

Oh ITA. I try to be comfy and still look very nice when I fly. I wouldn't want to sit next to some stranger's bare feet either!

Lily.... If you knew some of the things flight attendants secretly did to passengers that were a problem......you'd probably have me arrested! lol

Oh no, I'd give you an award!!! :ghi5:

I know. I just can't maintain altitude with the darn thing, and I'm really sick and tired of taking half of the tree tops with me.

Do you think Boeing could take a look at it?

:p

Hell, yes, it's worth it! When my sister and I went to Italy in 2007, our parents had come back from Greece the day before we left, so we never got to ask them about their trip. Afterwards I asked my mom, how was business class? She says, I guess it was okay. Did you sleep? Only about 7 hours. Since I had slept for a total of 40 minutes on the way back from Italy because my cheap ass sister wouldn't pay to upgrade, I was quite close to choking my mother to death cause she slept "only" seven hours. I am a miles whore and will never go overseas again in coach.
