Oh, that's hysterical!!!He just needs rabbit or bear ears & he can be a giant stuffed animal!!!
I saw it and commented there. It looks plush and lovely!!! It’s been a bit warm here too but we’re due some cold weather this month so I’m wishing and hoping!I posted a not so very good pic of the ranch mink in the mink thread on Wednesday. According to tracking, the black mink left NY & is headed South. I should get it on Monday. But....as my luck has it....temps are in the 60's & some days have rain.Highs are predicted to be in the high 60's, close to 70 all next week!! What a bummer!!! Don't know if there'll be another cold spell or not!! Well...at least I can look at them.
WOW!!!Here you go (pic 2 is what it looks like worn - not me of course)
Ugh!!!My white fox just came, some dirt spots which I asked the seller before I bought and he said and I quote "There is nothing wrong with this coat, it is just the camera angle"
So he lied about that, second while inspecting it within seconds I see a gaping hole in the amrpit!! This is why I try and stay away from ebay. I was fighting a claim just last week (for a telephone not fur) seller said new and it came used and broken lol.
Look at this thing, a gorgeous coat down the drain!

I had NO idea- thx for this! I was feeling weird about complaining about SNAD costs via eb, with sellers w GREAT fb. NOW I get it...Yep bugs, and the fur was falling out in clumps!
The fur looks good on this one, unless there is something I did not spot. Yes I will have it cleaned as well, hopefully it can be saved!
One thing about Ebay, if you receive a refund any negative you have left automatically is removed. I just left a neg last week for a seller, they refunded me and ebay removed the negative.
So even if you see 100% feedback god knows how many negatives were removed by ebay.
$50?! Where do you take your coats? Kaufman quoted me $80/per...Oh, this is terrible. I agree with @restricter that this can be returned as SNAD. $1,800 is a lot to pay for a dirty coat with holes. I don't understand how a seller can send out something that cost that much in that kind of condition!!!I am so sorry this has happened to you, especially for a second time.
I don't know how much cleaning costs are in NY but it's around $50 or so here depending on where you go. I have no idea how much it would cost to repair it as I've never had to have one repaired. To have a fur reworked/restyled is expensive. If you want to try & keep it, I would inspect every inch of the coat, stress points, seams, ect, to see if there is more damage. Didn't the seller list the coat as new? This is not a new coat. Once you've taken it to a furrier & find out the costs to clean & repair any damage, you can weigh the costs along with the price of the coat to decide if you want to keep it or not. It may not be repairable. I know solid white is hard to find, but personally, I would open a SNAD case so I wouldn't have to pay return shipping. But you know how much you love the coat & it's your decision on what to do. If you decide the coat is still worth it with the added costs, I would demand a substantial partial refund. $1,800 is too much to pay for a damaged, dirty coat & totally unacceptable.
BB on the ebay forum can help you if you decide to dispute the transaction. If there has been any contact & conversations between you & the seller, be sure to save it.
Please keep us informed on what you decide to do.![]()
What's a chargeback? Can you dispute these?! And negotiate?! I wonder if I could have done that w my Tradesy SNAD fiasco...@KittieKelly the white coat is GORGEOUS! I hate that you’re having so many issues with it. The seller should have disclosed the hole to you. Worse case scenario you can do the chargeback through your cc company then force the seller to give you at least the $400 off or whatever the repair and cleaning charge will be at the very least!
Thanks. It’s coming from Canada so it’ll be 7-10 days. That's beautiful!! Can't wait to see pics when you get it!!!
These are gorgeous!!! I'm jelly too, since they'd DEFINITELY look ridiculous on me...Ah. At 5’10 you could pull it off then. The silver fox might be more versatile too. I seem to always grab for my darker furs I wear black and gray a lot in winter. Good luck! What fun to choose!
one would THINK there's some kind of service to re-monogram coats!!! I'm SO BOTHERED by this, I'm ready to sew over them all myself...Glad to hear their taking it in & are going to inspect it thoroughly! I got my fingers crossed that you'll hear good news!! If they ask about the monogram, just tell them it's the name of the relative who gave it to you. It's really none of their business where you got the coat.
that's GORGEOUS!!!!! Congrats!!! I've seen that one online!!!Here are pics of my new coat, I just sent her the money! I’m excited!!!

Furriers and or even a seamstress will re monogram. My coats aren’t monogrammed, but I want to have them done. These are gorgeous!!! I'm jelly too, since they'd DEFINITELY look ridiculous on me...

Thx! It seems easy enough- at first I was completely neutral about it, but having someone else's initials on one's coat is just weird-CANNOT STAND!Furriers and or even a seamstress will re monogram. My coats aren’t monogrammed, but I want to have them done.

My guess would be she isn’t selling them to anyone because just ewww!!!EEEEEEEW!!!! (You think they're selling these to MEN or WOMEN?!!!???) Sheesh.
A chargeback is when you dispute an item with your cc company and they literally charge the amount back to the merchant. I did it once with a large merchant and to my surprise they didn’t fight it, but they knew they had done me wrong!I'm so behind on this thread!!!! WHERE have I BEEN?!!?? WOW!!!
Ugh!!!

So do they remove ALL fb if refunded?

Very well done. I am delighted for you. Finally picked up that white damaged fox, it came out beautiful!! Neiman Marcus did an amazing job on it! The tear is repaired and you can never tell where it was, and all that dirt came off. It looks like a brand new coat. The lining was filthy now it's sparkling. The bottom dirt is all gone, it's snow white again yay!
