Flying Economy w Gucci/ Designer Items??

This reminds me that whenever I go to IKEA I see a ton of luxury bags. The other day I saw a beautiful LV Alma BB in black Epi and what looked like a rainbow Chanel boy. I like seeing people wear their beautiful bags in casual settings.
People do economise or prioritise different things.

And if you notice people looking at your bags I would assume it is with admiration or curiosity not necessarily jealously or judgement.

Yeah I saw a beautiful Asian woman with a LV neverful at Costco during my lunch break and she looked stunning. If anyone is looking it’s in admiration. My mom used to say. Worry when people stop looking at you and enjoy it while they do.

I used to think like that and still do..
I love to spend on myself in terms of clothings and bags. I stayed in a small town and whenever i used a designer bag people would look at me as if i dressed too overly. We dont have fancy cars but the moment you step out of it, they will look at you in a weird way. This kind of reaction is making me so self conscious

I frequently fly first class, and if I have a designer bag with me, it’s usually wrapped up in my Jansport backpack I’ve had since college. I’m too much of a worrywart have to designer luggage for carry on.

Everyone has different comfort levels for how they travel, and none of those preferences are any better or worse than anyone else’s.

I don't see anything wrong with traveling economy class with designer bags, it's economically brilliant. My kids threw up in my LV on the plane before and I took the entire bag to the bathroom, rinsed and wipe them with baby wipes then let it air dry. Sometimes we cared too much about what people think of us that we forget to enjoy what we have at the moment.

Short haul I choose economy and longer hauls I prefer business because I find flying exhausting these days. So when I connect flights (one short one long) whatever bag I am wearing goes to wherever I am seated. No judging from both "classes". People choose econ/biz seats for varied reasons. Actually a lot of people fly business or first for the reclining seats because they have bad backs or legs or they are just old and prefer to have more attention and help from the cabin crew.

People do it all the time! The only thing is making sure you’re ok with putting the bag underneath the seats or on top if it’s required. It can be stressful flying let alone having to baby a bag.

The $$$ you spent for 8hours or at most less than a day of leg room is more than enough to get you a bag or two.

I choose to fly economy because we are all going down if the plane should crash and first class is not any safer. If it was any safer I would pay for first class.
I carry my designer items but pack them into a LongChamp because once a flight attendant spilled coffee on my Hermes shawl.
