One thing I think is interesting to note--all the truly rich people I have met (like they own private jets) are all cheap in at least one way, usually more. And they're PROUD of it! They will tell you how they still economize in ways that they've done since a young age. I find that encouraging! Take the founder of Ikea, for instance. He was notoriously cheap, and he was a billionaire. Article about that:Ladies, I can’t help but ask.
I find myself feeling silly for even thinking this but when I fly for leisure, I tend to fly via economy. I love to carry my Gucci roller carry-on and maybe even a Chanel flap with me and sometimes feel like I’m being judged. Maybe it’s just me but I’ve worked hard for my lux items and not being able to afford a first class ticket shouldn’t keep me from carrying them while I fly, right? I have gotten looks from folks and maybe I’m just self-conscious about this.
Does anyone else feel this way? [emoji20]

I don't assume that just because someone economizes, that they can't afford nice things. Appearances are deceiving. I find that if I'm flying economy, or in Walmart, or anywhere where high-end goods aren't as common, a smile does the trick. Most people that I find looking for a long time want to have a conversation about the item, or ask a question about it. When you just smile at them, most of the time, they'll ask their questions. I once smiled at a man next to me in economy, and then he complimented my Gucci bag. He proceeded to pull a Prada bag out of his backpack, and we had the best time laughing and talking bags the whole flight. Wear your items with joy!
