I bought the Tulum PM (still has the front pocket, but is a bit smaller than the GM) for my mom and I have the tivoli GM (the shoulder version)...so I have a pretty good idea of how both look/function. Having said all of that, here is my opinion:
My vote for you is the Tulum
. The Tivoli has rolled leather handles which make it prone to falling off your shoulder, and I imagine this would be a pain with children running about. I manipulate the handles to help prevent this, but it causes shoulder pain. Plus the Tivoli zipper is a MAJOR pain in the butt! I have to use two hands to get it closed every time (and even then sometimes I have my husband do it for me)! Honestly, if I realized all of this I probably wouldn't have gotten the Tivoli. I do love the look of the Tivoli, but the Tulum is very very classy and nice looking too.
