Dusty rose Gucci Soho Disco! At least 3 years old but I can't remember exactly. I don't baby it other than when I store it, I make an effort to let the tassels hang free like in the last pic. It's been rained on, sweated on, spilled on (oops) and so on, so I think it looks great given what I've put it through. I'm also bad about when I'm sitting down I'll smoosh it in my lap, but it hasn't totally collapsed it's shape yet so that's good. Hope that helps!IMG_20180924_175846.jpgIMG_20180924_175855.jpgIMG_20180924_175912.jpgIMG_20180924_175924.jpgIMG_20180924_180053.jpg

So much depends on where you are going and what you typically carry. But I have done several plane trips to Europe and urban centres in North America with the Givenchy Pandora, and it was GREAT!

Small items that you need to reach for regularly like credit cards, hotel keys and transit tickets can fit in the small zip pocket, larger flat items like passports and boarding passes fit in the front long zippered section, and then the main compartment is big enough for magazines, a tablet and water bottle in-flight.

It can be carried by hand, crook of arm, shoulder and crossbody and is fairly lightweight. A unique but classic style that is still being produced.

My go to bags are my Coach Bleecker Daily bags. They pack flat and convert from shoulder bag to crossbody or long shoulder to clutch. I also like to use my Market Tote. Ideally I'd like to also get a Longchamp Le Pliage tote that folds up too.

The medium size, and it’s still so roomy without looking like a HUGE bag, kwim. All the advertising pics show it stuffed like a cube but it really does lay flatter against the body irl.

Wow! Yours still looks brand new. That’s amazing! Thanks for sharing. I guess I’ll have to pop into Gucci for a try and look now. Your colour is really pretty too. I don’t think they make it anymore either. Now it’s only black, red and beige only. Thanks again for all your help and pics. Was great

Neither of these bags are fancy but I find them perfect for travel. I don’t do a lot of fancy travel (Paris or NYC) I would probably bring something else to a fashion location lol.

I use a Longchamp on the plane because, as everyone has mentioned it’s brilliantly indestructable. I then have this purse from Roots. The leather is amazing, it actually fits a ton and it can be worn cross body for day and then at night the strap comes off and it is a clutch. I also have a silver chain strap for it for evening and / or a wristlet option.

I’ve had it forever and it serves me well.

Cabin Zero backpack for the flight + LV pochette accessories worn crossbody for wallet, passport and phone.
For sightseeing, I use either my Givenchy Pandora, Balenciaga City or LV Speedy B.
When I have a diaper bag with me, I only carry my pochette accessories crossbody.

I carried my longchamp le pliage in the South of France this past summer. It was 30 degrees everyday and my bag smelt like melted plastic every time I opened it. The appearance of the bag is fine on the inside (ie no actual melting happened) but the smell made me sick. I am planning on getting an LV neverfull for travel next time.

She won’t win any beauty contests, but my LL Bean travel purse. Sadly no longer offered. Great crossbody bag they used to have in a couple sizes. It has traveled the world with me.

My two favourite bags for sightseeing are the Gucci Disco (black) and the Chloe Marcie Cross body (Cashmere Grey). Both are understated and hold quite a bit for their size and can go with a variety of outfits. For the plane definitely a Longchamp Le Pliage. It holds a ton, can be squished under the seat in front, has a zipper for security and can be washed when I return home.

If i'm travelling anywhere where I will be doing water sports, canoeing, kayaking etc, I will usually take a nylon bag that is cross body and waterproof.

Im always travel with Longchamp le pliage L tote + LV fav MM damier.

LV FAV MM Damier i fit: my passport, ID, credit card and some money, thats it.
Rest of things that i needed for travel or in the flight i just leave in the longchamp, and my fav mm never leaves me, NEVER. I always wear them for all the flight journey. ALL THE TIME. (Because two of my friends they took first / business class but been stolen money before) so i never leave my bag off me.

I was thinking about get another tote such as Mausur Gavriel L tote or LV neverfull, but eventually i give up both of them coz they both have no zipper on it....so hard to put it under seat

I used to have this roots bag in off white and travelled with it as well!! I am now tending more towards lululemon crossbodies with my longchamp tote as the are so lightweight
