Yes absolutely she can! But she is flipping it to get some more money when there are so many others who wanted the same bag at retail and not pay thousands more. We are all welcome to have our own opinions here on this trend of influencers which is to flip bags for their own benefit. Would u say the same if someone had flipped concert tickets and sell them at 2x the price? Again it’s their business but we can certainly form an opinion on it.

People grew bitter towards brand, and this kind of videos provides them a community to share their frustrations

Luxury youtube has for sure slowed Down ! All the luxury YouTubers who were buying lv and chanel started selling their bags and moved onto Hermes !

I was thinking the exact same thing. And frankly seems petty to call her out. It's her bag. And I've seen that purple sequin Fendi for more than $9k in US dollars. I don't think her asking price is that unreasonable. I'd never pay it. But if there's a buyer, kudos to her!

Has anyone noticed Hello Catwalk City talking A LOT about money lately. I always appreciate financial transparency but she definitely is constantly talking about her “healthy household income”. Today’s video about her handbag journey is basically a humblebrag. “When I was a young professional”, “2009 is when I broke six figures”, “I was super ambitious, career-driven, hustle, hustle, hustle”. It’s almost like she is trying to prove she is not like “the other YouTubers” but it just makes her seem like she is trying too hard to prove something.

It’s 2023 and Hello Catwalk city still trying to prove she is the most organized, most financially stable & having most classy taste. Walk the talk, lady! You preach so much you forgot you are contradicting yourself

Yeah I noticed this too. Many youtubers who were previously into more low key brands like Loewe have moved onto Hermes as well. Wonder whether this would lead to a slow decline in Chanel's popularity (and rate of price increases)

Being outpriced is definitely a reason, I agree with that. Also I think that people who’s still able to purchase from Chanel could be rather reluctant to post in the current economy.
