I agree with being private and be more careful on sharing locations and personal information but i do relate to vloggers who at least shares which store or the very very least which country they are from just so we can connect more. I remember superdacob had an issue paying for his small heart bag because he is using a burner phone for his chanel paylink payment if im not mistaken. He went through hoops to pay instead of just using his real phone (im assuming he has of course) things like these just make me wonder. For sure his stories are true but the littlest details like that just somehow makes you think why… also Us Is soooo big he could be from anywhere in the US… he can easily say US but not say specifically where. Im not judging just really wondering why. I would understand if maybe he is from a country like singapore where there is only a couple of chanel or luxury stores but im assuming he is not from there. Maybe a little im not saying he is wrong.. just weird

wow! So not even using his real phone at the store? I guess it's a bigger issue than YT. Maybe he's from a country that bans luxury

I mean he didn’t use his real phone to purchase his item from chanel. The number couldn’t be retrieved or even put data/load on it coz he used a burner phone and i think he hasn’t loaded it for a while so it was cut. He had an argument or not good discussion with customer service of his phone provider coz they couldn’t bring the number back and has to fill up forms if remember it correctly. I think that number is what he used as a record in chanel. I think he may have used his usual phone if he wanted to (just an assumption) i wonder why go through all that hoops instead. I doubt he is in a country where luxury is banned. (Is there even a country that bans luxury but has luxury stores in it?!) it just doesn’t make sense on that aspect. But his thoughts and him being frank and not afraid to say his feelings and thoughts on things i like about him.

Yeah i also would think he changed the photo to protect the privacy of the people involved. I respect that about him. He Doesn’t use his platform to name and shame this SA (in the spa) and the manager in the other store. He may have done something to trigger the SA and manager but i don’t think that’s fair to lie to him. i really don’t understand why this other SA won’t just let him purchase the bag. It’s also so unprofessional to talk to him like he was working for the manager. I am
Very curious though what the manager exactly said to him that made him think the manager was talking to him as if he was her employee and when he called her out she allegedly “snapped back”. Im not questioning the scenario but im more of wondering what it she said exactly so we can asses if it was something to be triggered about.

I'd take everything with a grain of salt. Embellishing and then some for the story. He needs dramatic content and given he's anonymous he can say whatever he wants. I second that I think the first SA didn't want to deal with a return since he proceeded to tell her he bought and returned it and was complaining about the quality. She thought he would just shrug it off, didn't know she would be selling it to him whether she wants to or not

Being anonymous is pure luxury but you choose to be an influencer and not share a very key component of where your experiences and purchases are from? Each and every vlogger/IG famous person will say "London based, NY based, Paris based" etc.
Tamara's situation was not because she simply told people she was based in Paris. She was known to be based in the UK for ages and never had an issue. He has been secretive ever since according to people who have known of him. I only recently stumbled upon his lives. He had 100 different YouTube Chanels/names. So a simple question and curiosity about someone who's content you found interesting is normal.
Lastly, No one is asking about his apartment number or street address. We respect it but doesn't change the fact it's weird. He shares when he is on holiday etc. To me it's more of an identity crisis rather than a safety issue. English is clearly NOT his first language yet there is never even a hint of his mother tongue or any other languages he can speak.

He met jessiestyle in melbourne when he had a world premiere in melbourne for his movie. He vlogged or maybe just a clip that he flew so far to travel there. Jessie isn’t secretive about living in melbourne but she is (at the moment) not sharing that she was a
Chanel SA in melbourne before she worked in the purse affair. She shared she wants to share things from her work but is not ready or like she maybe isn’t allowed or not comfortable. Thats why her thoughts on chanel and how she feels bad for SA’s who cant get bags for clients and how Chanel is very mean and she said if we only knew how Chamel operates.. she couldn’t stand it anymore. Also how bad she feels she has to play a role and cannot show her true self in the store she was working for. But yeah she didn’t reveal it was chanel and if she says anything about chanel or its in and outs she would be discreet about it. Friends have told me she is a sweet accommodating SA. Only means she isn’t built in a toxic environment like Chanel. Im guessing she couldn’t exactly get hot items. that could be very frustrating for her too

My honest opinion: I watch Youtube for fun and I don't take anything on Youtube seriously.

Dacob has every reason to hide his location, I respect it. We don't live his life, we don't know what's going on. He's been attacked a lot about his gender and hobby (all the negative comments on his channel OMG), so I am sure he doesn't want crazy people to follow him around. Also, I don't need to know every Youtuber's location. I can't travel to where they live to buy from their SA anyway. So where they live or where they buy doesn't really affect me much.

Dacob's videos are quite long, so I tend to play them as background noise when I paint and do chores at home. He seems to be genuine and have a sense of humor. I find lots of videos funny. He makes lots of good content for sure, most of which are educational and I like it. He buys what he likes, he says things a lot of other Youtubers are scared to say. He doesn't buy a bag just to unbox and then return it. Some of his videos are dramatic but who is not dramatic nowadays? :giggle: Aren't we all here for the tea? :lol:

We now live in a world where we share, people say TMI and it makes our life less safe. When we don't share, people say we're shady and hiding things. Aren't we judged anyway? He does him, I do me, you do you. As long as he continues to educate us about perfumes, Chanel, Hermes, LV... and add some tea to our life, it's all good.

Just my 2 cents, please don't attack me! :blush: I'm here for bags and everything Chanel!
