The funny thing is that Amy is asking more for her heart bag that any reseller/consignment/personal shopper.

I would suggest that she be more conscious about her bag purchases but then again she needs content for her youtube channel.
I just wanted to comment of this because when she did this sale, the crazy prices irked me a bit. I get they are hot items, and while it’s fair to get back what you paid, thousands more seems a little unbalanced. I shop at the same Chanel as her (we only have one in my province) so she has gotten bags, like the heart bag, that I was trying to hard to get but it was sold to a vip, (Amy being one I assume) so I didn’t have the chance to get one. But was happy to see someone who loved it, got one. But then to see her turn around and sell it for like over $3000 more than retail, was kinda crappy.
Just my thoughts. ☺️

I just checked her vlog sale video and shooked that someone bought the Chanel trendy CC from her...why
Living lux with Meredith recently had a blog sale and all of her items were very good price! Most of them were never used. The small new lady Dior was like $2000 usd lower than the current retail! That’s how it really should be, to help out their loyal subscribers instead of charging over retail for used items!

My honest opinion: I watch Youtube for fun and I don't take anything on Youtube seriously.

Dacob has every reason to hide his location, I respect it. We don't live his life, we don't know what's going on. He's been attacked a lot about his gender and hobby (all the negative comments on his channel OMG), so I am sure he doesn't want crazy people to follow him around. Also, I don't need to know every Youtuber's location. I can't travel to where they live to buy from their SA anyway. So where they live or where they buy doesn't really affect me much.

Dacob's videos are quite long, so I tend to play them as background noise when I paint and do chores at home. He seems to be genuine and have a sense of humor. I find lots of videos funny. He makes lots of good content for sure, most of which are educational and I like it. He buys what he likes, he says things a lot of other Youtubers are scared to say. He doesn't buy a bag just to unbox and then return it. Some of his videos are dramatic but who is not dramatic nowadays? :giggle: Aren't we all here for the tea?

We now live in a world where we share, people say TMI and it makes our life less safe. When we don't share, people say we're shady and hiding things. Aren't we judged anyway? He does him, I do me, you do you. As long as he continues to educate us about perfumes, Chanel, Hermes, LV... and add some tea to our life, it's all good.

Just my 2 cents, please don't attack me! I'm here for bags and everything Chanel!
I don't think anyone is saying someone can or cannot. It was just a question for the people who have been following him forever if he even mentioned where on earth he is based. As someone commented here and I agree there is value of knowing where a vlogger is based. I personally wouldn't necessarily value from a vlogger's experience in Japan or China for example I never travel there. Not about me going to their SA. I think it's creepy when people want to be told a name they can go to. You won't get the same treatment just for going to them
I stumbled on his lives very recently I love how long they are and like you have them play while I organize stuff.

I've always been curious as to where he is from/based. I have some ideas but feel bad about speculating lol

i have been really enjoying HayaGlamazon recently. Her videos are quite long but they're great to put on in the background. She gives alot of opinions on Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, which I find really fascinating. She is based in Tanzania so she doesn't have any luxury stores nearby. What I really enjoying is hearing her perspective from the outside in. Most of her observations are based off public data or off conversations she has with Chanel/Hermes/LV customers who share their experience with her. It's really refreshing to hear someone analyze that information and provide interesting interpretations....though I do take her opinions for entertainment purposes only since she isn't really an active customer in any of those houses. Her past Chanel videos on quota theories and whether or not Chanel is trying to be like Hermes were entertaining. Her Hermes Paris videos last year were really interesting too - she went in with the mindset of spending very little money and trying to get an ad hoc appointment through cancellations. I also really enjoy her unboxings. I don't know about you, but it feels that many luxury youtubers have gotten so accustomed to unboxing large ticket items that you don't really feel the "joy" when they're presenting their hauls. But I get the sense that HayaGlamazon really admires everything she gets, down to how the item is packaged/mailed to her. Because her unboxings are so few and far between (because of where she is based i assume), I get the sense that she really appreciates what she gets. In general, i really enjoy watching smaller youtubers or those who are early in their luxury journey because their reactions are so much more authentic (in my humble opinion!)

I only wish she would either stop making cover photos with such exaggerated expressions OR stop begging us to subscribe haha. The reason I refuse to subscribe is because i can't stand seeing those expressions on my subscription feed - its too off putting haha! The algorithm will recommend her videos to me regardless.

I know all youtubers use the word but what's with "haul". I've noticing it now more with lvlovercc. No one "hauls" anything and how unrealistic is that for the everyday person regardless of what item it is or what brand name it is. That is all lol
OMG, I totally agree. It’s a terrible expression - pretentious and gross! I’m especially bothered by clothing hauls…so much excess. I suppose it is tied to the aspirations those watching have to be like them…ah, nope.

Yeah they are shocking and off putting. Cheapens the brands imo. The only 'hauls' happening in my household are after Costco runs;

A lot of new youtubers do the same to get more subscribers. I know 2 people who started YouTube in the last 12 mos. One wasn't doing hauls, just mostly buying bags from coach, Kate spade etc. And then one doing luxury hauls like chanel and hermes. Guess who got more subscribers? The one doing the luxury hauls. Even if the quality of the content wasn't there. Sad really. (the one doing Kate spade and coach has less that 1k subs and have been doing it for 6 mos now and the chanel and hermes one now has around 1.5 subs within just weeks of starting)

Not to mention usually when you see these large unboxings, they're actually a collection of purchases over the span of several weeks/months. It's very misleading, even if they let their viewers know.

Someone I adore who does occasional Chanel handbag vids is Michele Wang. She's more of a beauty channel, so she does review Chanel beauty products, along with many other brands. I love her!

I used to enjoy her videos and these days she often vlogs about fashion hauls and luxury handbags hauls including Chanel.

But lately her shopping/unboxing videos have been overwhelming to me with all these expensive bags and shoes, from left to right and I’m getting tired of them.
It’s like how much stuff do you really need?
