IMO things to look for in luggage:
Sturdiness
On wheels
Make it noticeable at baggage claim
I have a HUGE black thing on wheels (I think American Tourister or Samsonite???) DH & I usually share it. Only have to wait for ONE piece to show up @ baggage claim!
I usually take something nice as a carryon, Chanel, Prada, LV. BUT, NEVER check luxury goods!
