You are getting some misinformation. Don't worry about your Nomad. I use Coach moisturizer on my Nomad and other glove tanned bags all the time, and they look beautiful.

Actually, when I was carrying my Nomad once in the Coach boutique, an SA thought my bag looked a bit dry, so she immediately took out some Coach moisturizing lotion and applied it to my bag! It looked great!! I have even used this moisturizer on my pebbled leather bags, such as the Borough and others, and there have never been any issues. ;)

Same here! I use the older white plastic bottle moisturizer on all my glove-tanned leather bags and pebbled (even other designers) and it works great. Now they have a new glass bottle one online that says not to use on glove-tanned. Odd. Well I have plenty of the older stuff so I'll just keep using that.

Hmm interesting. The glass bottle moisturizer on coach.com says not to use on glove-tanned leather and the plastic bottle one they used to sell says it's okay to use. Did they change the formula? FOS used to sell the white plastic bottle one - not sure if they still do.
JAX may also sell the moisturizer even though it's not on the website. I need to stock up. I only have one bottle of the Coach cleaner and conditioner.

The moisturizer that I have is the glass bottle. It states on the bottle that it is specifically formulated for all coach glove-tanned leather. My SA sold it to me telling me to use it on my bags (nomad and rogue). I think it's an error on the website.

Oh, I definitely know what you mean. I hate when it ships from a store, unless I've purchased it directly from that store and they are giving me one that's factory wrapped as was the case with my Oxblood Rogue. But when JAX has a store fulfill it, I'm never happy with it. I purchased an oxblood whiplash saddle bag that JAX had a store in San Antonio fulfill, and I sent it back the same day. It was an obvious display item or floor model, none of the hardware was wrapped, no paper was stuffed inside the bag. It was just the purse inside the dust bag in the box; I was so disappointed.

The oxblood Rogue is definitely more brown, but I still think it's nice; however, when I initially wanted an oxblood purse, I was thinking of burgundy, which is why I like the color Bordeaux. Thanks, you are saving me money. The more I type the more I realize I don't need the oxblood Rogue.
My thoughts exactly. I have a lot of bordeaux/burgundy shades of clothing that the oxblood wouldn't got with. The oxblood is more of a dark merlot color. I think the gold hardware on the black and mineral bags stands out more and makes it a classic piece. If the bag were more in the $400 range, I might have kept the oxblood as another neutral, but for that price, it's gotta really have the WOW factor for it to be a winner for me.

I agree. At the price, even with the PCE discount, I have to be wowed to keep two of the same bag, and it has to be something I know I will use. What good is a savings if I carry the bag once or twice? The oxblood one is boxed up and ready to go to UPS.

Well isn't that interesting! I mean it isn't as if Coach's website has ever been wrong

Is anyone expecting their suede Rogue today? I'm interested in reading more reviews. I just finished looking at mine and loading it up for the first time and for those interested here are my thoughts the next day. I'm definitely keeping it! I love the color...1941 saddle is deeper/darker than tabac, but it's still basically the same color. It's a great size. While it looked small yesterday, after I put my things in everything fit perfectly and I had a lot of extra room, unlike the Outlaw 36 that I'll be returning.

There are a few things I noticed about the suede Rogue. The two pockets do droop slightly and reveal the leather interior, which I actually like, unless you carry it by the handles, but I don't plan on carrying mine by the handles. I tried bending the smaller handles outward instead of inward, but it seems awkward that way. Almost as if I could damage the bag, maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I also don't like the way it looks that way. It does feel lighter than the pebbled leather Rogue, but only slightly. When worn over the shoulder, I don't notice the weight at all, which was also the case with the pebbled leather Rogue.

Question for those already using their Rogues. I noticed on both Rogues that when the handles are tucked inward the Coach tag and the key holder hang awkwardly. I know there wasn't anywhere else to hang those tags, but does it annoy anyone? I found myself constantly positioning them.

All in all I'm happy with my choice, and it will provide a nice change from my growing collection of saddle bags.

My SA was using moisturizer in the new bottle on a glove-tanned display wristlet. I questioned the new bottle. She said its the same product, just new packaging. Also, a smaller size bottle has been made for travel. (I commented that I doubt I'd be conditioning my bags when on vacation [emoji39])! I think Coach needs to clarify on the website and all of the SA's.

I just cut the tags and started carrying mine today. Of course, it starting raining while I was out running errands...

But, yes, I'm also always positioning my hangtags. It is a little awkward leaving the handles out when not in use so I'll probably tuck them in if using the shoulder straps. I also felt like it would damage the bag over time. The bag is heavy when using the handles, which doesn't bother me at all. But, like you observed, not noticeable when using the shoulder straps....:smile1:
