Fake/inspired bags-would you buy?

I see what you mean... if it's fake then it's bad (and sad) to have it!

If it is inspired by a famous popular bag but clearly not the actual thing, then I guess that's ok. But by that I mean no logos or similar but not the same style logos.

I know it's sometimes expensive to buy the real deal but I am much more satisfied by buying just one real bag a year than loads of cheap or fake bags. Saving up and having the real thing is really satisfying.

I have also started my own business where girls who can't afford the real deal can have a chance to win one because I know how much we all really want these thing.

It's been really popular because for the price of a text you might be the proud owner of a lovely and real designer handbag!

It's only for the UK though sorry to those girls who are all around the world - but hopefully one day we can make one for the US and Australia too!

If the UK girls would like to have a look though, come visit and have a go! (Charlotte's Auction is the name of the site)

At the end of the day, why should we girls lower our standards, we just have to save up and be sensible and buy one or two real bags rather than ten or more cheap or fakies!

I think it's okay to buy "inspired by" bags.
I am dead against the counterfeiters though, it is a horrible underground that has roots in crime at all levels of society and economics.

If you can afford a real LV mink bag at $12k and you want it - buy it.

If you can afford a nylon Kate Spade and you like it and want it, get it.
etc etc

i wouldn't.

i once bought this really cute bag at marshalls because i wanted a cheap, no-name and NOT fake bag to carry around and not have to worry about.. turns out it was a bulga knock-off :|.

fakes are everywhere :(
