For some reason, Bleute appears more pretty (due to the purple undertone) and Bleu Cobalt seems a bit more flat compared to Bleute. Hope it doesnt disappoint IRL :)

Hi all,

Just to share some pictures with everyone here. Got these from Cannes boutique.

I'm torn between Gris Tarmac and Latte.. This is my 1st B bag and will serve as everyday ...which 1 should i go for?

Thx
Moon

For your first one I would go for the Gris Tarmac. The lighter colored Bals can mark easily and the handles will darken over time if you are not careful. Plus I think Gris Tarmac will be a more versatile colour. I'm getting a Gris Tarmac rh work!

Def Rose Thulian over Rose Bruyere IMO, then again, I have to say that RB is a "soft" color versus the RT. so, I guess it kinda depends on what you like & what would go with your wardrobe.

Thank you so much CeeJay. I think RB would go better with my wardrobe and having Coq maybe I should wait for a next season pink? Then again I saw Rose Bonbon from SS2013 and I think it is a dark pink as well. I would like something like Grenadine much better, such a sweet pink IMO.

Finally saw CUMIN IRL, and I would have to say that .. Peanut Butter is an accurate description for the color. Definitely think it looks better with the Rose Gold HW; the bag that I saw didn't have the best leather (rather thin), so I passed on it.

However, the Cassis bags that I saw .. WOW!! All of them were beautiful with consistently thick & chewy leather. It looks especially nice with the Rose Gold HW. In the back of my mind, I kept on thinking to myself "this color looks familiar", yet I knew that it wasn't like the ones from the past. All of a sudden, it *hit* me, and 'lo and behold, I took out my Bordeaux Hamilton CP .. and sure enough .. AN EXACT MATCH!!!! Needless to say, that eliminates the color for me since I have the Bordeaux Hamilton Velo.

Rose Thulian continues to impress; a gorgeously saturated Pink with major Red undertones. I would definitely NOT place thsi color in the RED family; it's definitely in the PINK family. The leather on the Rose Thulian bags have been consistently thick & nicely distressed.

While I love the Mangue color, the bags that I've seen have been inconsistent in the leather. Don't know why Balenciaga seems to have such difficulty with yellows, but the leather always seems to be dry and/or thin. I ordered a Mangue mRGH PT, but I'm a little concerned because if the leather is thin and dry, it will be a NO GO for me.

Personally, I like the Gris Tarmac a lot .. reminds me a lot of Plomb, which was a true Grey. The leather on the Gris Tarmac bags has also been consistently great. Heard that Balenciaga will be continuing this color for the 2012 S/S season.

Hi ceejay. How do i find the hardware for the RT? Silver or Rose gold looks better? Tia

Dear CeeJay,
Thanks for the decisions of the colors. Help out your confused, indecisive friend here. I have City Coqueliqot. Is is too much if I get a First in Rose Thulian? I may have asked you before. Do you prefer Rose Bruyere? I have posted a thread RT or RB and up to now RT wins. What is your opinion?
Thanks:pullhair::confused1:

Hmmm .. well, Rose Thulian is definitely not like Coquelicot, but if you are looking for something that is very different from Coquelicot, then Rose Bruyere would be that. However, since I'm not a huge fan of Pinks (other than a strong Magenta/Amethyst), the Rose Bruyere doesn't appeal to me .. but it is a pretty soft Rose color. Kind of hard to describe Rose Thulian, it's like a 'clean' version of a very Pinky-Coquelicot combination!

Hi ceejay. How do i find the hardware for the RT? Silver or Rose gold looks better? Tia

Personally, I find the Silver HW to provide a nice contrast to the richness of the Rose Thulian (the 'regular' HW also looks nice). Wasn't too keen on the Rose Thulian/Rose Gold HW combo (but that's my opinion).

Huh?! I just realised, it's smaller than the First
I thought it would at least be somewhere in between the First and the City. What an odd choice.

Oh and I just quoted myself, excuse me :shame:

Oh,No problem at all:smile1: All I know is this Minicity is like a miniature version of city thats I heard.

Oh my heavens Tokyo, I think my small handbag heart just stopped! :faint: Thank you for this post! Look at their little baby Bal bunny ears! Gasp...

My pleasure LoveHandbags! This bag is already being popular in japan with those who love a small handbags:smile1:

Thanks for this!!

But omg.. I'm so confused. I'm looking at the pics and my brain can't seem to register its dimensions! "isit a city... Is this a town.. Or maybe a velo" can't seem to merge it together into one bag :p

I think......I've been looking at WAY too many bal pics ;)

Your welcome leamb! This bag is more like a miniature version of city thats i heard:smile1: If found more pics, I d post again.

Very nice picture CeeJay. Now I know how Bleute really looks in comparison with BC and BL. you also lifted my spirits up because I checked the Pink family and I saw Framboise and Pivoine and I will have to wait for Rose Bonbon insteade of buying Rose Bruyere. Thank you again for the info. You saved me a lot of money and regret.
