gina55rn: is it bleu atlantique? I have that color in pt rh, love it , very neutral, can match with anything. it's a medium blue, like the denim blue with sometimes a greyish undertone. it's not that stand out at first but after a while the color is more and more richer. I take it for travelling since it's goes well with any clothes.

Saw the new colours in Selfridges today. I am underwhelmed. Nothing - not even Rose Thuylian - grabbed me like Bal used to grab me. I was surprised to see white bags back.....or have they been available all along and I've just not noticed?

Does Rose Thulian look like Coquelicot or like watermelon? I would like to order a bag but I already have Coq and RTh is so different in all the pictures I have seen. :thinkin:

]Got my Velo Cassis today from Matches Notting Hill London - absolutely gorgeous and goes well with my wardrobe. As a newbie to Bal I can't really tell if the leather is dry, thin, too veiny or too shiny, all I can say is that it makes me happy.

I would love some feedback on the bag once I can figure out how to upload a photo from my iPad..

It looked much more like watermelon to me - I was expecting a variation of Coquelicot but it really was a more orange-pink base. Hope that helps!

i was looking on bal.com, and i noticed that all of the pictures of this season's weekenders show one less handle stud. has anyone seen a weekender in real life to confirm?

also on bal.com, the cassis weekender is listed at $1595 whereas the other weekenders are $1845 - guess this is an error.

i was interested in a RT weekender, but not sure how i feel about one less handle stud. the drop is supposedly the same, but i wonder how this would affect the handles - less sturdy maybe?

Personally, I would describe Rose Thulian as saturated watermelon. The bags I saw were pretty nice, leather quality wise.
