Adding to @Jesss1 report I would like to add that you can easily go back and forth between the areas. In my RTW size there was not much I fancied, just one sweater which happened to be ripped already, so I passed. Seen a beautiful black shearling coat but one size too big for me, unfortunately. If you are either in German 34 or 40 plus you might be more lucky. In the shoe section, they fill in the gaps of sold shoes with new models so checking back might make sense. I nearly got a pair of Santorini’s but the colours were not really my cup of tea. Lots of silk, across various collections, I actually picked up three. Cashmere Silk scarfs and twillies are in my opinion in rather underwhelming designs, but maybe the best ones were gone already. That’s basically about what I got and I am happy with it. I did not expect a big „haul“ as I am rather picky and have a preference for neutral colours, esp in shoes.

Some people are really shopping a few bags full of stuff, but mostly the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed not a grab and run experience. They do however seem to let people in on an ongoing basis so towards the end of the morning slot it got a bit crowded.
It’s been fun though!

Did anyone solve the “mystery” of the colours assigned to the names yet? My guess was that the different slots get different colours - in my case I would get an Alezan coloured shopping bag (same colour as my Kelly - how did they know??)

Probably internal information for Hermes or the name/group is related to your time slot. I didn't notice anything at the sale event that had any connection to the group name.

The colors are used solely to assign customers to their time slots.

I was in Düsseldorf yesterday and was a bit disappointed.
You can see that there are many items that haven't sold in the shops in recent years.

The stock is constantly being replenished, so it doesn't matter when you have a time slot. It's more a matter of luck what gets replenished; there doesn't seem to be a system for it. The service seems to take items from the pile, regardless of what's in the box.

I found a shawl and two scarves for myself, but more so I didn't drive 400 kilometers for nothing.

For scarves and shawls, it's okay; there are so many there that you can always find something.

Otherwise, you spend a lot of time waiting in line. At the entrance, your ID is checked. If you buy scarves, they are sealed separately in a bag. Later at the checkout, then again at a checkpoint, where the contents of the bag are compared with the receipt.

Mystery still unsolved … the people in my time slot had different colours then me. I asked at least 5 people working there, but no one had an answer, except for one woman and she said “no meaning at all”.

I also asked at the entrance yesterday and was told it didn't matter... :confused1:

I'm very happy with my purchases! I especially picked up the scarves and was able to fill some gaps there.

I had made a list of items I didn't have yet. For example, 70s scarves, 140s mousseline, Gavroche, broderie anglaise, something in Rouge H, etc. I got them all!

I also bought two pairs of shoes: Paris loafers in natural and Famosa espadrilles in bronze (?). The Paris loafers had been on my wish list for a long time, and I would have bought them even at full price.

Finally, a Chaine d'ancre Mini Clic bracelet. It wouldn't be worth full price to me, but I think it's great for 50% off.

I was disappointed with the selection at RTW. I think a lot of it was already gone. I prefer neutral colors, and there was practically nothing left. I only found a white polo shirt for my husband. It was also a shame that CSGMs were out of stock.

If I were invited again, I would definitely try my best to go on the first day.

Otherwise, I can only agree that everything is very well organized and civilized.

Good luck to everyone who's still going!

Are there still Shoes left? I would be intrested in Oran, oasis, Chypre and Ismir..
have the last Slot today. But my little one is Sick and I need to drive 4,5h one way. I don‘t know if it is really worth it leaving her with a Babysitter.

Another question: do you think it affects your Chance of gettong a QB when you get invited to sale but can‘t go?
As far as I got the impression, no - my SA asked if I got the invitation but was rather indifferent to me actually going. She said there might be a few interesting pieces for me - given my taste and shopping approach of being a selective and slow shopper - but I felt that it did not matter to her in terms of being a „good“ client or not if I went or not.

Which makes sense to me, what you spend / buy on sale you might not get in a similar way in the boutique, right? At least for a non-VIP, non big spender shopper like me, I guess.

What is your shoe size? Yesterday there were plenty of Izmir in size 42 & 43 in the men’s section (-30% only), no Chypre in any size left, several pairs of the Veo boots in black in size 44 and some cool sneakers in a few sizes (all men, no Bouncing though, but - 50%), no cashmere silk scarves or triangles, a few shawls though.
