I went in the afternoon. Very well organized, same location but different then last time as I had to leave everything at the cloakroom incl. mobile phone. I found the selection a bit underwhelming and restrictions seemed stricter than prior years, only 1 CSGM. Still worth the long drive as I found items I missed out on. Maybe it was better in the morning and H wanted to spare my bank account :lol:

Just came home with a marvelous huge straw hat with a lizard band which I have never seen at my boutique, a cashmere scarf and 2 bracelets :heart:

As mentioned above, no bags were allowed and the phones had to be put into a protective case which prevents taking photos and videos. Large selection of RTW, decent amount of shoes across all sizes, usually at least 2-3 Oran or Oasis models in each size. Very underwhelming on the belt section :annoyed: 3-4 pairs of gloves, no small leather goods, tons of hats and caps, myriad of scarves and stolas, a lot of bracelets including CC and Olympe.

We spent around an hour inside. It was quite busy, especially around the shoes and CSGMs at the beginning of the slot.

It was definitely worth the trip to D and I’m so proud of myself that I only bought what I absolutely loved! Tried in multiple Orans and some RTW but it just didn’t click :rolleyes:

Thank you and @MlleBougainvillier for your reports! It sounds like you had a good time and got some items you are delighted about!

Is it getting really crowded or do you have your space to look and try and also go back and forth between the sections? I hate to push myself through people to see the items and would rather withdraw than doing this… do you know how far the collections go back in time?

How much off are shoes and RTW? Not sure if a 5 hours one way drive makes Sense…

I went straight to shoes and then to the accessories section :biggrin: And then reverted back to RTW and scarves. It was absolutely OK to go back and forth, the most crowded part for me personally was the CSGMs - sometimes you had to battle your way through. I took a pair of Oasis which I ended up bringing back after I reconsidered and it was perfectly fine.

I spotted some scarves from current collections but also tons of older stuff. If I had to bet, I’d say around 18 months back (tons of autumn-winter 2023 if I was not mistaken).

Thank you, this is very kind and do very helpful! I love the CSGMs so I may have to brace myself a bit in advance… . I‘ ll probably check out shoes first, too, and then have a look at RTW… it is good that you can reconsider. Sometimes I need a bit of time to make up my mind.

I‘ll let you know how it went, this hat you were writing about sounds divine! Maybe I can find a little treasure for me, too.

Were the cashmere shawls 140? Yhe hat is really beautiful. How did you get the invite for Saturday? I received the invitation email on Thursday for 13 to 17, but I can’t attend, as I am on a business trip next week. If the invite would come sooner, I would schedule my trip differently. I went in 2022 and spent way too much money back then but live everything ai purchased… this time my money is safe :-)
