Norwegian Girl, you're killing me! Thanks for the pics. This bag is truly gorgeous and the right size for me. I NEED to keep an eye out for this one because I wouldn't get it unless it's on sale. I still need to think about that shoulder strap, too.
Let us know your thoughts after you look at it. I'd be curious to hear what you think since we have similar taste.
It was available in the USA last year in navy and mandarin at Saks, but nowhere else. Now MK has listed it on their website, but I haven't seen it anywhere else. And not every MK store has it in stock to view.Absolutely!!!

It really is the perfect size e/w Hamilton if you like bigger bags and are tall like me. The interior capacity looked like it was almost exactly the same size as my large Selma.
I've checked the MK stores in my area & no one has it in inventory. I'm dying to see it IRL.
And I just bought a new Black N/S Hamilton yesterday!
I have to admit, I was really impressed with it when I saw how big it was. It's an e/w Hamilton the size of a large Selma. (I think it's even an inch longer.) The shoulder strap is narrower than the n/s Hamilton tote, but I have a similar long strap on my new n/s soft leather fold over tote, and it seems to be okay. I think the longer length makes it less uncomfortable on the shoulder because there is room for the bag to swing a bit. And it's totally comfortable when worn cross-body. So I suspect it would be the same with the large Hamilton satchel.
It's completely different than the n/s Hamilton tote because it's an e/w satchel. So there shouldn't be an issue getting it in addition to your black n/s. Unless you feel you'll have too many Hamiltons. I have 2 n/s Hamilton totes, so feel I could add one more. If I did, this would be the one.

I have 2 N/S & 1 E/W Hamilton's & 1 N/S Dillon. Since this one is a little different, I don't mind adding this the the family. I just want to see one before I pull the trigger. LOL
I think you'll find that you'll want to replace your e/w with this large Hamilton satchel. It really is that much bigger and better. I wish you could see it in person. When Saks had it last year it sold out before I could see it, so I never got a chance until now.
That's what I'm afraid of. My E/W is in Aqua & I really love that color which is why I keep it & will use it from time to time. I do use my N/S more & I know I'll be using the new N/S a lot as well. I wish this new one was available in more colors. Maybe it will become available in stores this Summer. :wondering
