You know, I was checking the Zippy Wallet Vertical from men's SS22... zero in Australia, US, UK, parts of Europe that I checked and most of Asia... but 31 stores in Japan have it and about 15 in China  :girlsigh:

I'm partly getting my head around the fact that Japan has more than 31 LV stores!!!
I remembered I was after the GP TP26...the personal shopper in Japan can get it as there was stock in Japan..silly me actually called the LV in Japan to check if they can send it to me HAHAAH of coz they cannot..I dont speak Japanese so spoke to someone who can speak in English there....Yes was that desperate but I didnt get it....maybe all of us like the collection more than them...

I love LV perfumes, but not the unisex ones. Those have the nicest bottles tho. Interesting when the perfumes first launched all the names were in French. Now the names are in English, which is fine by me. My French pronunciation is horrible.
Reading that the notes are sandlewood, citrus and tiare flowers I can’t imagine what that gonna smell like. It’s almost like a bit weird but might smell good!

31 ?!? 31 !?! No wonder they have huge and good bargain pre loved market there   I watched House of Gucci the other day , it was also mentioned that if you dont hit Japan market than u are not on the map of lux brand.. but 31? Is a bit overkill ..

Yes, 31!! And they have MORE stores than that! I didn't count the full list, it was loooong though  it was like scrolling through the US store list but with green everywhere!

Yes, Japan preloved shopping is fun! I learnt about it a bit late, and wasn't as into luxe back then, but when I visited I found the most beautiful pair of LV peeptoe pumps for about 200AUD.. they were unworn.. from this store KOMEHYO. I think that was the store. Our Aussie exchange rate was much better then, though. *and it was years ago so don't know what the store's like now.

Have heard that Japan has very strict standards for preloved , so they are meant to be in great condition.

Wooow, clearly in Japan they don’t know what it is to stalk items   Ive visited Japan a year before the pandemic started, sadly I wasn’t into designer back then hahaha because I saw some YouTube videos about great second hand designer stores there, if I ever visit again I’m going on bargain hunt for sure:nuts:
Yes I cannot wait to visit the second hand designer stores like Amore for Lv and Chanel (and Komehyo mentioned by @bagsamplified ) Ginza Xiaoma for Hermes missed it the last time..and pre covid they have two pre love LV sale in June and Nov each year..not the timings I usually go though…but wow it’s so fun!! But now not sure if they still hold it…but many do buy pre-love hence the stores are still doing well!

But designer items are generally more expensive in Japan compared to Australia so I just get exclusive things from there…I actually got my damier ebene NF PM from there as they were the first countries to launch it…but was so expensive after conversion….I saw the kabuki collection too in 2018..wanted the NF but should hahe gotten the speedy..wasn’t too into special collection yet

Oh I really hope you guys get to go!!! You'll have such a great time, especially with the snow! Also last time I got tax refund on some items from Japan, but don't know if they still do that.

You have to check out their department stores too... and their department stores' food basements with giant apples, strawberries, delicious cakes, seafood... omg here i am with food talk again  :drinks:

Never been to South Korea but that would be amazing, too!

That sounds wonderful! I’ve never been to Japan, but would really love to go when COVID and the political situation allow it. I’d love to see the cherry blossoms and the temples and tea procedure, so many things!

I am a huge fan of BLACKPINK, omg!! Am a recent fan though so your daughter would probably know more about them than I do!

I did watch the BLACKPINK House series on YouTube and I think that's in Hongdae, in one of their episodes they went out of the house to experience the nightlife and food.. looked so much fun. There's some luxe bag eye candy in the series , too

Oh, the giant fruit in the Japanese department store food halls is expensive... I paid $14AUD for a giant apple once just to see what it was like.. it was good! Haha I can't live without rice either! And you will have fun hunting down the takoyaki and eating your way through both countries!
