I always imagine them as bag organisers, and useful for work/office, files, little knick knacks in bigger bags, or clutches by themselves? I don't have, but I do own similar sized pouches.

I do like how others have turned them into mini pochettes, too!

I hope you find a lovely bandeau for yourself from the collection!

Yeah I agree. The Kiri is super cute but I don’t know what to do with it either. The NF is beautiful but the price, … I think a speedy 20 or 25 in summer canvas would of been pretty or a cosmetic pouch? I’m thinking to get probably an slg from the summer canvas, wapity probably depending on the cost lol or key pouch I read. But then again their small items so like you, want to be able to use it rather than collect it hehehe launch date is 15th April so I guess preorders will open end/early April. It is a pretty collection though!

I know many people from HK immigrated to Australia as well. My Uncle was in Melbourne for a while.
One of my favourite, favourite holidays ever, was in HK. Our HK friends took us around, we were so lucky. Best food and people.

There is Tim Ho Wan in Melbourne but not sure how good it is, pre-pandemic it didn't have great reviews. It's still open, though

The Din Tai Fung in Melbourne is yummy! Haven't gone since pandemic but it's a fantastic location for shopping in the city! And they give those bags for your bags to sit in while you eat haha

@Mapoon Want to ask you for yumcha choices in Brissie and Gold Coast, we only knew Landmark and Jasmine Room lol

I havent been to HK since 2016...but my hubby is from HK so I am blessed with great food my in laws cook every day...

I tried the Tim Ho Wan in Melbourne...very very good! Din Tai Fung in Melbourne is not bad and great location indeed...I feel SG version taste better maybe coz Im used to it hahaha...Actually if you do want to splurge...I actually had yum cha at Lucky Chan in Crown Melbourne many years back (2008) and I really enjoyed it...it wasnt cheap but the quality was really good by my and hubby's standards...it's still there but have moved within the building...

For Brissy - I dont like landmark...but Jasmine Room is our current fav...in Brisbane my in laws go to Golden Lane at Sunnybank Plaza (near Landmark but it's at the corner near the arcade area) or Ming's Chinese Restaurant at Underwood (chinese is Guangzhou Lo). The food at the yum cha cuisine franchise is not bad too, normally go to the one at Westfield Garden City.

I know the Garden City place!!! That is a good choice! Thanks for your recommendations. Brisbane's food scene is amazing. Gold Coast is great, too.

If you like Malaysian, I recommend Lemak in Brisbane, they have 3 branches and they are all so good! The crispy chicken nasi lemak and the curry laksa are seriously the best I've had anywhere in Australia. The kway teow was good, too.

Kopitalk in the Gold Coast is also awesome, they cook Malay food! Even in Melbourne and Sydney it's really hard to find Malay cooking. I don't like their curry laksa but they are known for their nasi lemak dishes and they have special dishes every weekend- like really traditional dishes I'd often never heard of- best to follow on Instagram for updates. The staff are so friendly. It is spicy, btw!

Also saw there's a new HK food area in the Chermside outdoor food court, it looked great

Gosh I'm so hungry now. Back to Europe and bags we go :angel:

Thanks dear!! Yes..have tried Lemak, normally buy their takeaway from 8 Street at Garden City (just had their mee goreng for lunch last Sunday) and also their Chermside store too.. Kopitalk is great! It was recommended by one of the Brisbane SG groups too..I normally go there if I go to Harbour Town...love the roti john...reminds me of home...

I seldom go to the outdoor area in Chermside as the food at the food court is good enough...the Thai counter is really good..But will check it out in a few weeks when it's safer to venture to that part of town...but one more to add to your list is Little Nyonya Kitchen Malaysian Cuisines at Ferny Grove..it's at a Bowls club but also recommended...they do specials that reminds me of home lol!

Yes it's almost midday now so yes..hungry..Sorry ladies for the digression!! Back to bags...
