So recap of the show (I’ve just watched it)
Most of the looks were quite masculine and very androgynous. The show should be probably supposed to be an museum and that’s also how the models look, like visitors. There are a few very pretty dresses by the end but those get covered by a heavy sweater.
its not bad, but overall also not breathtaking.
ive just made some Screenshots from all of the bags:

(why Lv why? Is this A birkin?)

the bags are overall very „vintage“- like and that’s also probably what LV wanted!
I absolutely love how it was at the Musee d'Orsay and I LOVE Jung HoYeon so to see her open the show...     such a superstar.

I haven't seen the whole show but am actually enjoying the vibe of the bags, it is more my style I guess. I liked that double-pochette-like version of the Mini Trunk (am probably getting names wrong) and HoYeon's opening bag reminded me of Coach but in a really nice way. In fact a lot of them reminded me of elevated Coach (this is not slamming Coach, I like Coach too) with a touch of Phoebe Philo Celine from the clothes and older Demna Balenciaga with the bags. Except for the faux Birkin, what on earth was that lol

Great to see less loud logos for a change, suited the mood too. In fact as a newbie to LV what really strikes me is how the FW Women's reflects nicely with the Men's FW Runway, like the giant floral tapestry-like bags.

Sorry such a long post but am very excited, I don't follow the shows religiously but it was the first thing that popped up for me this morning.

Looks like my wallet will be safe on this one

Why do brands think non-Asians don't like purple... I remember a few years ago all of Asia got

Overall the bags are not bad, only the birkin lookalike was a NO
But the clothes were just okay imo, Virgil’s last show was just too breathtaking so maybe that’s why :giggle:

Lol how embarrassing, it had a leftover old draft up there in my comment.

I think someone said the Purple from the upcoming Women's Summer might be Asia only and it bugs me that brands often think the rest of the world doesn't deserve purple. It didn't delete properly.

A few years ago Samsung launched a beautiful phone collection with a purple model only available in Asia which was so annoying cos Australia had the wacky choices of like, black, corporate blue, and metallic dirt brown... sorry but I was so triggered being Asian in a Western country.

This is all kind of redundant if LV does release the purple worldwide after all !

We’re in the same boat except that I’m Asian in the US. Time for me to move home to HK. I tell my CA that all the time and he says that he’s coming with me.
