LV is lately doing this with a lot of bags from the past. I can also bring up the Odeon. Also the neonoe which is a newer version of the classic noe. Not to forget the montsouris backpack and the sac plat. But Lv isn’t the only brand doing this. Not to mention Gucci and Dior. I think it’s easier to take an old design, reshape it and sell it again for a higher price. Also there is less risk that I will be a Flop. For example the new wave bags, a totally new design but people didn’t bought it like crazy, same goes with the Pont 9. but all those redesigned bags are usually sold outFor those interested in the croissant bag. I found this comparison post on the LV FW21 thread.
Louis Vuitton Resort 2022 look# 27 showcases the newest reincarnation of a bag that was released many years ago.
And that LV Croissant bag can still be found on the vintage market. See below for in-depth photos of the vintage LV croissant-shaped bag and a comparison between new and old.

Great website. Thanks for sharing. There’s some bags on here I’ve never seen before. Croissant listed for USD 800. Interested to see what the mark up will be on the new version. Here is a great website with a big list of all LV bag Styles / models: https://poshpawn.com/pages/louis-vuitton-model-guide

The Pont 9 is just not a beautiful design imo. Now a new version is coming in grained leather with a beautiful strap and rounder corners. I would love this new version if it didn’t keep the huge circled logo and the long arrow like leather part on the flap closure. Would have been better to make a completely new bag and not a pont 9.2.LV is lately doing this with a lot of bags from the past. I can also bring up the Odeon. They only took the name hahahahaha
Still quite a few htf items (MP, MPA, Key Pouch, Nano Speedy, KP, NF), showing store availability. What is strange is they don't have the PA listed on their websiteSoooo…seems like someone from LV stalks our thread, the mexican website doesn’t show up store availabilities anymore
Edit:…for the most products…
I think the Pochette Accessoires could have been discontinued - because on the German websites it does not say "contact us" anymore - it says "look for alternatives"Still quite a few htf items (MP, MPA, Key Pouch, Nano Speedy, KP, NF), showing store availability.
