So I went to New Bond Street yesterday. Long story short: there was almost nothing from Game On collection except for RTW. My cousin bought a belt and Sarah wallet as Xmas gifts for family...the packaging was poor-in one oversized creasy bag, no ribbons/card, no gift wrapping. The SA was trying to sell us Sarah wallet with missing glazing around the corner of the flap. She said it's the last one they've got..I pointed out the issue and magically the other wallet appeared in stock..
That's so annoying!!
So many issues with glazing lately. Don't they check the quality anymore?
Not just of the pieces... But of the SAs they hire as well at this point!
The SA was pushing on us the GO Ready to Wear really hard. I was shocked to see that most of the clothes were polyester....I didn't like anything..the clothes look better in LV photos than in real life...sorry to say but they looked and felt cheap..
No wonder so many of us choose to shop online if this is the kind of treatment you're going to receive. Going to the boutique is supposed to be a pleasurable experience, where you're treated with that extra care and attention. I know the global economy is going through a challenging time, but surely LV have no need to scrimp on packaging. LV were one of the few luxury companies that reported a smaller-than-expected drop in revenues and proved more resilient than others during the peak of the pandemic. You would've thought with stores being closed for a month they would be eager to see faces and actually be excited that customers are visiting the stores and helping to keep them in jobs. I'll continue to enjoy my own company and shop online instead! :amuse:

I went to bond street in september and thought I would get good service like before but service has defo gone down. I bought my speedy 25 de and asked to see a 30 and he just pointed at it from afar rather than letting me try it on :annoyed:

I could not say it better myself @bigverne28 ..I have realised how much more I prefer to shop LV online rather than in store. Seriously..I am more excited to see the UPS driver than the grumpy SA face. When I've asked about the GO Kirigami set I've got the frosty look and I felt like was asking her if she saw Yeti somewhere there around :giggle: Xx

I have to say, I visited the Bond Street store on Saturday and met with my SA.
I had the opposite experience and even though they were so busy I didn’t feel rushed and she was happy to show me anything I wanted.
There was quite a wait to have a item hot stamped but she was still happy to do it.

She did pack my purchases in the usual carrier bags and I asked for the Christmas ones which I know they were having problems with, but she went off and found me a couple anyway as I collect them.

I think it boils down to your luck as to who serves you. You get good and bad SA in every shop.

Waiting for my first nf mm mono beige to arrive. I’ve always been more of a speedy girl but I just couldn’t resist!:hbeat:

My pa mono got canceled, because of creditcard authorization issues. Just found out my cc does not have 3D authorisation. I actually already own a pa, but the vachette and canvas is pretty beaten up over the years. It’s my most used item in my collection! If anyone sees it online please let me know! I’ll be so happy! I’ll use Paypal next time haha! Thanks in advance!:hugs:

Hi all. How is everyone? I know I disappeared from the thread quite a while back! Work for stupidly busy for a while, busy like calling me up at 10pm to deal with stuff level :yucky: . But it's calmed down a lot this week or so, so now I have more time for stalking .

I haven't really had time for checking out LV much. I went to the City store back when GO first came out and walked away with a Felicie and that was it. Very disciplined of me.
