Etoupe Birkin... your opinions and share your pics plse?

I agree with style. Etoupe is definitely not a color that one would "ooohh & aaah" over immediately - it is VERY understated & toned down - even so when compared to Gold Clemence (which already is very understated in my opinion). This color looks best on certain styles & size. I've seen it in a Kelly 28cm, JPG Birkin, Birkin 35 and most recently, in a Cabas Victoria. I love it in the JPG Birkin & Birkin 35, not so much in the small Kelly and cabas.

Archangel, the pic that Tokyogirl posted is actually very close to the etoupe that I've seen IRL. But it's best that you see & appreciate this shade in person :flowers:

The last I spoke to a SA - I got the impression that Hermes is considering to make Etoupe a house classic neutral, just like Gold.

I agree with gigi. I was not at all impressed by this color at first. But then i saw the JPG birkin in Etoupe, it was a sight! :rolleyes: :heart:

Definitely a classic color as an alternative to black. So chic!!:love:

ah the "elephant" colour i love it paired with palladium hardware and white or light blue stitching looks wonderful against white clothing also
a very classy neutral with an unexpected twist. but have to agrre do not like it on the kelly and the bigger the bag the more appealing it is for me (the jpg birkin is a blast in that colour) :drool:

I kind of like,but I think I would like it more with the gold hardware. Luxchic, your bag is going to be beautiful with that gold hardware. Do you have any idea when its coming?
