Essie Gel

An old thread I know but I've just found some essie gel colours I love. Are those of you using the essie gel using the essie led lamp or a different one? Just wondering of it cures ok using an led lamp other than the essie one. Thanks x

I use the Gelish 18G for 30 seconds per coat. No problems at all.

Using the OPI basecoat helps cut down on the time it takes to remove

I ordered a 12w led before u bought the polish so I spoke to essie customer help line before I got these replies and they said it will cure it.
I've got the colour sew excited and going to give it a go tomorrow if my lamp arrives. I'll be using the bio seaweed base and top coat so hopefully it'll last. Thanks again for the replies x

Don't know , but in the meantime, you can use Gelibility or Megamix to make your own.

They have already released a version of fiji a few months ago called "my private paradise"

Has anyone else found the Essie base coat to be kind of sticky? It seems like I have to work really quickly or it'll gunk up a bit and not smooth out. It soaks off well for me though, so I work with it.

This is Sew Excited, which is the dupe of Sew Psyched. It's one of my all-time favorite green polishes. I used it with Gelish base and top and had no problems.
