@l.ch. I'm sorry you were saddened to hear about my story but I can assure you that my daughter was warm, safe, fed and had a wonderful time during our Paris vacation. I agree that it is unfortunate that Hermes does not make it easy to purchase certain items. If I decide to return to Paris and get another bag from Hermes, I would probably skip the Sevres and George V boutiques and just visit FHS with an appointment. It goes without saying that my daughter's well being is my number one priority and I would never compromise that for anything. International travel with toddlers is always a challenge and if I do say so myself, I did a damn good job doing it alone. So if you are to have negative feelings, direct them towards Hermes' constructed system of exclusivity or even at me for the exhaustion that I experienced, but rest assured that my toddler was in good hands with her mama.

I hear ya! My DD just turned 13 and is my fave shopping companion, we’ve enjoyed many trips together. I have a treasured picture of her sat on a wall after a days shopping, my Prada carrier on one side and her Primark bag on the other, we were both happy with our purchases that day! I also find that SA’s adore her and I benefit from her halo effect...
