OP, your bag is absolutely stunning.
As I was reading through the whole story, I felt a bitter taste.
Please, I don’t mean to be rude and probably I should not say that, because I don’t own any Hermes bags, but to force a client with a toddler run around Paris, it’s too much for me.
I know that I’m not knowledgeable and thus very quiet here on TPF.
But my original euphoria for the OP finding a treasure, sank as I realized what she had to go through to get this bag.
I know, it’s probably not my place, but I had to share my feelings.
@l.ch. I'm sorry you were saddened to hear about my story but I can assure you that my daughter was warm, safe, fed and had a wonderful time during our Paris vacation. I agree that it is unfortunate that Hermes does not make it easy to purchase certain items. If I decide to return to Paris and get another bag from Hermes, I would probably skip the Sevres and George V boutiques and just visit FHS with an appointment. It goes without saying that my daughter's well being is my number one priority and I would never compromise that for anything. International travel with toddlers is always a challenge and if I do say so myself, I did a damn good job doing it alone. So if you are to have negative feelings, direct them towards Hermes' constructed system of exclusivity or even at me for the exhaustion that I experienced, but rest assured that my toddler was in good hands with her mama.

Wow that is an absolutely gorgeous bag! Great story and you have such a good and patient daughter (how I wish my son could be as patient as yours)! What a fun adventure and that bag...again...is stunning!

Thank you, @Lec8504! What a beautiful avatar. You are a gorgeous bride and your pooch is precious! I give my maltese hair cuts at home aka hack jobs so it is often a hit or miss!

What a great story and a stunning bag!!! May you have many more adventures with your DD. My “little girl” turns 14 tomorrow and we still have adventures together!!! Enjoy the time with DD, they grow up so quickly. And enjoy that amazing bag!
I hear ya! My DD just turned 13 and is my fave shopping companion, we’ve enjoyed many trips together. I have a treasured picture of her sat on a wall after a days shopping, my Prada carrier on one side and her Primark bag on the other, we were both happy with our purchases that day! I also find that SA’s adore her and I benefit from her halo effect...
