Its nice to see HEART has 4 now lol one is mine but still at least 3/114 like it =)

2 of my cousins (in their 20's) have princesses and all my aunts have round except my mom who has a emerald =)

I recently upgraded to a 2.17ct. antique-style cushion in a pave setting (no halo) for my 10th anniversary. Of course, I still wear my original engagement ring (which I love)...it is a 1.10ct. oval with two .50ct ovals.

I adore heart shaped diamond so very very very much!!!! I think it's great as an engagement ring because it's obvious that the stone has a sentimental value attached to it as everyone knows that heart shaped anything is just the symbol of love....

I once started a thread asking what tpfers think about heart shaped diamond and quite some people seem to like it too.....I think it's so true that you should go with whatever makes your heart sings....if it is the heart shaped diamond ring...then that's the ring for you....

here's the link to my thread, there's a lot of comments on heart diamonds and some pics too..hope it helps :)

remember, all diamonds are classic and timeless....good luck with your decision :)

I've got a Marquise solitaire, I always get compliments on it and one of the reasons I picked it was because you rarely see them, not proving popular in the poll though :graucho:

Going back to the comment about certain shapes costing more than others, this is due to 'wastage', some shapes create more waste from 'rough' so are more expensive in the process.
