GP hands down. LVs quality just doesn’t compare by a long mile....or two.

I don't find the GP practical in bigger sizes. The are floppy and, if it's a concern to you, an invitation for pickpockets. I know your intention may not have been to compare to two similar bags,but regardless, the OTG and GP aren't that similar. I always thought OTG was more of a vuitton take on the bootk tote which is also much more structured than the GP. Have you had a look at the hermes double sens? I actually do like the OTG, but it's too loud for me

It’s a post about OP deciding between Hermes vs LV totes. So discussing Hermes totes is germane, no?

OP here. My comparing the OTG and the GP was because I personally like totes and would use them in the same way, as an every day bag. They are very different bags in many ways, such as the long straps on the OTG, but as I said I would use them interchangeably. I wish the OTG was 1. less structured and 2. with less logos. I love the traditional empreinte in some bags, like the Artsy, but the larger logo just didn't do it for me. I understand that there are downsides to a less structured bag, such as it flopping open, but I stuff stuff in my bag and so need it to expand.

Anyway, I thank you all for your inputs. I returned the OTG and am looking for my next GP. To each his/her/their own!

Glad you made that decision, OP! As much as I like the longer straps in OTG, the (humongous) logos put me off.
