Emerald Ring or Rolex?

I am considering a present for myself for internal, milestone reasons.

I have two ideas: one is a two-tone Oyster Perpetual Rolex, and the other is an emerald ring.

I cannot decide. I cannot get both and will be trying to find the cheapest way to get the Rolex I want, but my thoughts are varied.

Do you already have a "high end" watch? I, personally would go with the Rolex! More price increases than on emerald rings! Which style/size are you considering?

Rolex. Cos its a timeless brand. Unless your emerald ring is also a "branded" one. I find branded products have better staying power and resale value.

I love emeralds but don't know if you have a watch. A watch would be more practical and durable. The rentals not so much, plus depending on the type of emerald you want the Rolex maybe a better price. Congradulations on your milestone!

Congratulations on reaching your milestone! I'd choose the Rolex over the emerald, unless the emerald is something you've always wanted. Emeralds are delicate and nice can be hard to find. I have a small one and do not reach for it all that often.

Congratulations on reaching your milestone. I vote for the Rolex if you don't already have a high end watch. Rolex is timeless & classic. Unless it's a very special, one of a kind Emerald ring, you can always set aside money & save to purchase the ring at another milestone..
