I really must get my kids to show me how to do the picture posting thing. I will get so many more responses on all the subforums. The crystal one was really pretty. I love the shape and form of the silver part of the ring. It is very smooth and comfortable. I had no intention of getting one of these until I read about it here! But this ring is so different and obviously not a lot of people will have them.

OMG now I am DYING to get it in my hands and try it on Hokaplan! Thanks for the update. I so know what you mean about the "thrill of the chase"... LOL - am so bad with that too!!

I keep staring at the pics (and found the ad I'd ripped out) of the turquoise one. Am going to bug my SA tomorrow again!!

hotshot - THANK YOU - was wondering if it looked recognizable as Tiffany's/Peretti... good to know someone else thinks it does! :)

surfergirljen - Hi! What did your SA have to say? Are you planning on the turqoise with silver or gold? I'm curious as to how many are available. Do you think this ring will look bad if my nails are not nicely manicured? Perhaps I should make an appt at the nail salon. LOL!

Hey! Didn't hear back from her today (emailed her).. yes turquoise with silver, and I asked her to see if she could find a size 7 or 8 and she said there were "only a few left in the world" and that she was going to snag 2 for me and bring them in... but so far haven't heard back from her.

LOL - well I haven't had a manicure since my wedding day so I hope not! I really have no idea what it looks like on a hand, anyone's hand - I'm staring at the picture every day and trying to imagine it - I have no "cocktail" or right hand rings, just my Tiffany wedding set, so this kind of ring is all new to me! I just love Peretti's round styling and this one totally caught my eye in the ads - it just looks so PLEASING - was it you who said it looked like something you'd love to just touch all day? I just find it so soothing to look at, like the moon or something! I'm going to be crushed if I don't end up liking it on or she can't get me one after all! I may have to bring it home and get used to the size before really committing - I never even thought about my nails! haha. Busy working mom and no time for nail salons, boo!

Please let me know if you find a modelling pic!! I hope yours comes in soon!! When is it expected?

ps what finger do you think this is "meant" to be worn on? I would likely wear it on my ring finger, right hand... is that weird? I can't see myself wearing it on any others but maybe that's just b/c I never have!

surfergirljen - Yes, I plan to wear on ring finger on right hand. It is coming from across the country so I would say closer to end of week. I can't wait! My SA did say that there were more in production. The one I'm getting has 17 on backorder and 4 of those are reserved. I wonder if this will continue to be so limited.

Good news - It will be delivered tomorrow - it's only one town away!

Bad news - I don't know how to post pictures.

I'm wondering if I will like the jade one more than the rock crystal. The rock crystal is $200 less which I could put towards my watch. What do you guys think?

It is so strange - on Tiffany website - the jade one is called an Elsa. It says it is no longer available even though mine was tracked and will be delivered today. Why do you think they are no longer available? They were launched less than a month ago.
