Buyer: Herbalife4ever
Purchased an item that had tags to the retailer, accused me of selling a replica (which I see she's done that before based off of this thread), I get it back and it has makeup marks all over the interior. There is glitter and foundation all over the inside of the suede interior. Clearly she used it for a weekend out, accused me of selling a replica, and then had me pay for her shipping/return shipping.

I thought sale went well. After years of not selling I started back up, my DSRs showed up today & the only 5 I have is on shipping price (all my auctions are free shipping). I was able to pretty easily narrow it down to this buyer from other feedback my last dozen buyers left. Plus she told on herself in a message to me while asking if I had more of the same item she bought. She claimed I didn't earn 5 stars because I charged a lot more for shipping than what it actually cost me. I guess she thinks I'm an idiot. I couldn't get to my BBL fast enough.

ETA: I just re-read her reason and she added when she sees sellers like me overcharge that much to ship something it 'irritates her greatly'. She should feel how irritated I am right now.

I've sadly had quite a few lately.

Here are the last few who ticked me off:

ewelinany1982 made an offer on a Burberry Ashurst quilted. I accepted within minutes and sent an invoice thanking her, since idiots (literally) were offering $100 on a $595 + tax new with tags and receipt jacket, as if I paid $60 in the store? I didn't hear from her and sent another invoice the next day. 48 hours later, still nothing, and I've been fed-up with non-payers, so I've just been opening unpaid item cases after 2 days. Within 2 minutes of when I opened the case, she sent me a message that said, "I had an emergency and left town. I need to cancel."
Most likely, she did not have an emergency within 5 minutes of making her offer, so she could have paid when I accepted it.
If she had an emergency that prevented her from paying, how could she send the message not two minutes after I opened the case?
And if she had the time to send the message, she had the time to pay, and I could just send it when she's back...JERK. I lost out on 24 other watchers!
3 more days until I can close that one...

Today, I had jfried11.
She sent me one of the worst excuses I have ever seen:
hi, i was looking at this bag and trying to decide if I wanted to bid so I entered an amount. Always in the past, eBay had me confirm the amount before my bid was placed but this time it didn't, the bid just went straight in and I honestly didn't mean for that to happen. I would appreciate being let out of this sale if possible, maybe you could send a second chance offer to the person with the other bid? I would really appreciate it. I'm sorry for any inconvenience, I truly did not mean to place a final bid. Thank you!

I sent an e-mail to my friend with a screenshot from my gmail because I had bid on something on eBay not 20 minutes beforehand and it reflected that in my e-mail. I said, "gee, I had to confirm my bid when I placed it. I guess she has magic eBay!"
No, I do not cancel bids for people. Bids are contracts. .You screw up my auctions and listings, you deal with it. If I cancel your order, I get dinged, so no thanks. You can wait two days and get an unpaid item case. I did make an offer to the other person, who is, of course, unresponsive. UGH. Hate people.

caitylepore...called me a liar when I wouldn't cancel her bid....so sick of people bidding for fun these days.

This one made me very angry -- I've been trying to sell something for over 4 months that should have been easy to sell. Again, getting crappy offers for half my asking price. I don't inflate prices, and I paid near my asking price; I refuse to lose money. I accepted her offer about 15 minutes after it, maybe 30, because I made a whopping $9, just so I could pay the thing off on my credit card.

No answer to invoices, messages, or unpaid item case. Why do you offer $300 on something if you don't want it? It clearly says it is legally binding and you must pay when you put in an offer! I know because I offered on something the same day!

Item 222375391245, not a purse but a vinatge Owner's Manual
Buyer info recommend blocking: writingbutterflies13 [email protected]

1) I didn't make it to post the pics and Buyer purchased it & paid.
2) Nonetheless, I messaged the Buyer with the corresponding pics before shipping it out with the following message. "Thank you for your purchase and instant payment, I had missed uploading the corresponding pics that complement and complete its description. Therefore, I am sending them to you within this message before shipping it out unless you decide ad confirm otherwise. Thanks again. Best regards, ....."
3) About 3 days later Buyer replies with a nonsense message: "I am confused the pics do not show the ceiling fan why?"
(Should I ask the Buyer WHY is asking AFTER having purchased/paid for it without the seeing pics, and then such a nonsense claim after seeing the pics that showed it instead? Needless to say...RED FLAG!)
4) I reply: "Yes it does. The second pic I have sent to you shows it. Is pictured on the cover. Then there are more specifications, pictures or graphs and parts pictured inside the Owner's Manual.
Is the original Owner's Manual as it came from the manufacturer. Shipped as per eBay time frame requirements. You'll be receiving it soon. Best regards, ..."

Next thing I know Buyer opens a Refund Request through eBay claiming hasn't received it...and claiming the package was empty! (both lies!)
By eBay request I provided detailed USPS Tracking and confirmation of actual Delivery to this Buyer's place. (BTW, I have sent it upgraded on me via PM and insured).

Buyer APPEALS the case to eBay...insists on a full refund and states couldn't work things out with me (???? as far as I know, the only time Buyer contacted me was with the false statement about the pics not showing the ceiling fan).

To my surprise, and not aware yet of the Buyer's Case Appeal, eBay messages me that the Appeal Case was closed and that they had ruled in my favor...that they have read the messages and was clear Buyer had received the item.

I think I was lucky that this case was handled by a smart eBay rep who could see this 12 FB Buyer was trying to have the item for free.

Anyone ever taken these deadbeat bidders to court? I have had back to back deadbeats and am getting so frustrated since wasting 2 weeks each time and could really use the money. Don't know what to do.
