Buyer hoffmanconsulting

Item #331464239505

Purchased through BIN. Never replied to communications. Filed unpaid item case. This buyer has 14 positive feedbacks. I relisted the Jimmy Choos and I now have a 0 feedback buyer who purchased them. So far no payment. Keeping fingers crossed. *sigh*
Have you considered checking the require immediate payment box? I haven't had a problem with nonpaying BINs in ages. Auctions are another story.

I think there is a list of requirements to meet in order to use that feature. Unfortunately I'm an occasional seller so I wouldn't be able to benefit from it.

I didn't realize that. I've always seen that option, even when I first started out. There is a simplified listing form that might not have it but I think that there is a way for anyone to switch to the standard listing form. It's in the same place where you put the email address of your paypal account.

I sold a laptop though BuyItNow. I have been a loyal EBAY user for 10 years and have bought and sold many items on EBAY. The funds were in PayPal so I sent the lap top. Buyer said that it didn't work and sent me an empty box box using a tracking number. Once EBAY saw that the tracking number was received EBAY gave the buyer back their funds. So the buyer got my laptop and the buyers funds! I was told by EBAY this would be a case of "Stolen from doorstop case and I would get the funds. Then Steve from the EBAY resolution center yelled at me for hours. Eventually my cell phone battery ran out. I feel that Steve from BAYs resolution center wanted me to pay for their buyer protection program and that the scammer's are now running EBAY.

I think the listings always have the option to check the require immediate payment box, but in order for it to be added to the listing, you have to have a PayPal Premier or Business account. :)

I don't have a business account because when I sign into paypal, I get the message to upgrade to a business account. I think I might have a premier account. I thought you had to have one in order to sell anything.

After I responded to you, I started thinking and was wondering if you do have to have a Premier account in order to sell on eBay. I just asked that question in the general question thread! :flowers:

Haha watch I've had one this whole time and could have been requiring immediate payment and I haven't. Would save me a lot of hassle, seeing as how I will likely have a few names to add to this list this week. :censor:

See if you can get as much info on the shipment as possible, including their shipping cost back to you and weight of the box if possible. Shippers always price by weight so if you can show that the box was under weight that would help in your case.

I know a well known reseller of Hermes birkin bags and someone wanted to return one they'd purchased and sent back a fake in its place. There are all kinds of nuts out there who want something for nothing and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself.

If there's any way you can show the box you received was underweight it would help in your case with e-bay.

I hadn't had enough seller transactions to make use of a Premium Paypal account. I may look into it now.
I'm looking over the types of Paypal accounts. There is personal, business and student. Only those three options.

This page only shows those three options: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/helpcenter/helphub/article/?solutionId=FAQ2347
On this page, it shows premier: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/pop/choosing_account_type_signup-outside

But when I open DHs personal account, there is a button to upgrade to business, rather than premier. I wonder if they are doing away with premier?

Buyer: mybestpicks

Made a best offer on a pair of jeans. I accepted the best offer. No response from buyer. Send a reminder invoice after two days. Opened a case after four days. Never got any response from the buyer.
