I didn't send back shoes with broken heels and damaged soles, the heel tips were well worn and the leather was dinged up on the heels like in the photos I took the same day I received them (images 1, 2 and 3 from my first post here) and the soles were not damaged (but they had already been resoled when I received them, they did not come with original soles). If I received shoes with broken heels and severely damaged soles, I never would want to keep them. What the seller did with the heels and soles after I returned them to her, I don't know. And since you are not the seller, you don't know either.I am not the seller - and I have seen the pictures of the shoes that were sent to you and what you sent back, many of us have from several selling groups we belong to.
The shoes that were sent, as the photos show, did not have broken heels. The ones you sent back did and the soles were worn.
All of your continual requests for a partial refund were posted - even after the seller kept telling you to return for refund. You kept telling the seller you wanted a $250.00 partial. I don't know anyone that, if they received shoes with broken heels (which is what you returned) would continually argue to keep the shoes.
And I don't know any single buyer that would take pictures of new shoes and post all over the interwebs that they got new shoes, and take pictures of them to show them off, while arguing with a seller that they received shoes that had broken heels and severely damaged soles. And that's what you returned to the seller.
I only wanted to offer the seller an option of a partial refund because the value of used shoes is less than what I paid for what I thought were new shoes. At first, I suggested a credit of $250, but then I later asked her what she thought a fair price was for used shoes because I was willing to pay a fair price even if the credit was less than $250. There were no "continual requests" for a credit, it was just the credit amount in question and I was always willing to return the shoes for a refund. I really did try to work things out with the seller because I had a good shoe buy experience with her and I wanted to buy from her again, before she started making accusations. I always gave her the option of me returning the shoes for a full refund and when she told me that is what she wanted and gave me her return address, I sent them back to her.
I never took pics of new shoes because she didn't send me new shoes. The pic I took that I only posted on tPF and Instagram (not "all over the interwebs" like you say) is of used shoes, which is obvious in the close up pic that I just posted along with the new fuchsia ones that arrived at the same time and that I photographed at the same time.
At first glance of a low resolution photo, it may not be obvious that the shoes are used, but upon close inspection you can see the wrinkles on the leather and the fading of the gold YSL logo on the heel part of the footbeds.
I have purchased 2 other pairs of tributes from eBay sellers (silver and red) without any problems. I have purchased 2 pairs of tributes from stores (fuchsia and black croc), so why would I go through all this trouble with this eBay seller and her shoes? I have no reason to cause her harm by doing a bait and switch or wear her shoes and then return them.
I had a wonderful eBay purchase from her recently with Valentino rockstuds that were new as described, so I was actually looking forward to another wonderful purchase. Believe me, I was very disappointed to receive the used shoes because I fully expected them to be new like the Valentino rockstuds she previously sold me. But I'm even more disappointed that she is making false accusations "all over the internet" when she knows very well the shoes she received are the same shoes she sent me.
