I receive a item that is SNAD and I contacted the seller, the seller said I can return the item.
Should I file a claim just to be on the safe side?

No, if the seller is agreeable to the return, you may return it but be sure to use delivery confirmation (or signature confirmation if the total price you paid including shipping was $250 or more) and if the seller reneges on her promise, you can file and prove the return.I receive a item that is SNAD and I contacted the seller, the seller said I can return the item.

Is the seller agreeing to refund your shipping, hopefully in both directions? IMO, in the case of SNAD, the seller should make you completely whole since the return is due to her error.

I wouldn't worry about it as long as you get the item as pictured. Once you've paid for it, she's obligated by ebay policy to complete the transaction.Hi, I place a offer on a item on Ebay the seller stated she would like more for it but will consider my offer which was only a few bucks different, well she accept the offer right before the offer expired yesterday. I haven't paid yet but I saw the same bag listed by her on Craigslist and still active. I inform her about my concern and her response was you won it on Ebay. Am I wrong for been concern?
Ok thanksI wouldn't worry about it as long as you get the item as pictured. Once you've paid for it, she's obligated by ebay policy to complete the transaction.
I should have added that since you can't force her to send something (for example, if she gets a better offer on CL, you can report her as a non-performing seller and can leave feedback.Ok thanks![]()
Depending on how quickly she refunds you after delivery confirmation shows that she got the dress back, you can revise to neutral with "got refund for SNAD dress only if revised feedback." She does NOT deserve a positive feedback and if you want to leave the neg as is, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't.
This is feedback extortion. She cannot hold your refund hostage unless and until you revise her feedback.Thank you for your advice. I did ship the dress back to the seller by USPS Delivery Confirmation and she received it last Friday. I still have not been refunded. She told me once I remove the negative feedback she will refund me. She also is stating that the dress is as described in the auction and it is not.
Here is the link to the auction. There is no mention of any flaws with the dress:

I'm very upset and I don't know what to do now. I wish I had opened a dispute. Is it too late?
Contact ebay and explain that she's not picking up the package and therefore not issuing your refund. Tell them you want your refund and they should issue it.This seller is getting on my nerves, a attempt was made to deliver the package and no one was home so a notice was left to be pick up at the post office seller is saying she doesn't know when she can pick it up. I should have open a claim. I think she is stalking because she doesn't have the funds to refund me. Very frustrating.
I will thank you.Contact ebay and explain that she's not picking up the package and therefore not issuing your refund. Tell them you want your refund and they should issue it.
And leave her a well-deserved feedback!

At this point, file SNAD, described the flaws, that the seller agreed to the return and refund and post the delivery confirmation number as well as the date and time of the delivery. (Copy and paste the d.c. info too.)
Also state that the seller is withholding the refund even though she has her item back.
Then escalate the case. You should get the refund quickly.
You're welcome.Beenburned, thank you so much for your advice. I did open a dispute, since this seller is not keeping her word. I can't believe I fell for her promise to refund me. I will not be changing the feedback I left her now and she had also left me positve negative feedback, which ebay removed. Hopefully I will get my refund today.
